  COLLEGE!

  oh, so in the midst of everything else, college is goin well.. about 30 % of my high school graduating class came here, so its really just like high school part2.

  i have 2 morning classes, and 2 night classes, so that way the majority of my schooling gets done on 2 days of the week instead of 4. last night was my first night in my english 111 class.

  i already knew thaqt there was one witness in there, but its someone who i've kept up with, and someone who is cool with me, as i am.

  Congratulations on college, Richie. I know you will do well. As far as the JW classmate......You know the old saying........"Do unto others......." what goes around comes around......   How do you answer this question??

  ok, i'm now da'd as many of you already know.

  it's so fresh that my stomach turns everytime the subject comes up about religion.

  however, something that does puzzle me a bit.......is how do you answer people when they ask you the question "what religion are you?

  it's been out a while and i know it's already been commented on here but i really enjoyed the village.

  the creation of fear and the control that it allows must surely strike a chord.. recently i saw christian bale in the machinist.

  I'm with KatieKitten on "A Beautiful Mind". This was one of the best movies I have ever watched. It is very long but facinating. The ending is really an eye opener.

  Did anyone see or do a random act of kindness today?

  today while unloading my groceries, i witnessed a random act of kindness... someone in a ford explorer was waiting for a car to leave a parking spot so they could pull in there, they had been waiting for several minutes when finally the car in that spot backed out and left.

  before the person in the ford explorer could pull into the spot, a lady in a ford taurus pulled on into that parking space.

  the person in the ford explorer who had been patiently waiting, just sat there, they didn't honk or flip the person off, then the lady in the ford taurus realized that the other vehicle had been waiting for that spot and backed out to find another spot, letting the guy who had been waiting have his spot.

  My dear husband just left to take a friend out of the palliaive care unit to watch the big parade here. He has brain cancer and not much time left. My husband is a very kind man and I am always proud of him and the many random acts of kindness that he does each and every day.

  I Got The Phone Call Last Night - My Dad Died

  my mom called last night to tell me he passed on sunday.

  he died peacefully and fairly painlessly.

  my mom said she was talking with him, went to answer the phone, and 5 minutes later he was gone.

  Dear Brenda; Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear dad. My parents are both gone now too and it was very hard. Just hold you head up high and be proud of who you are at the funeral. We will all be with you in spirit. Love Arwen

  Feeling a bit lonely tonight

  my bf has had to go to belfast today for work.

  he doesn't work away too often, this is only the 3rd time this year, and one of the times i went with him, but this time i have to stay home.

  i took him to the airport this morning, hugged him as he went to board his flight, and i've been ok all day, until he rang me about an hour ago.

  I know how you feel. My darlin has been gone for a month on a motorcycle trip with his brothers. A sort of family mid life crisis! He will be home tonight I hope if the rain will let up. I have missed him so much. Just pamper yourself for a few days and the weekend will be here before you know it. ..Take care...Arwen

  Hey - first time here

  hello i am megan tis my first time here (hence the title :) ) so i just thought i would introduce myself.. i've never actually never been actually been a jehovahs witness but i first actually got introduced to it in january when i met the amazing kw13 haha :) since then ive looked at books, articles and had a wonderous time on the friday of the 2006 3 day jw convention .

  i'm trying to help karl get his mum out of the witnessing, hopefully we can get through its not gonna be easy but we are optimistic.

  its been a real difficult time for me trying to understand the witnessing because it went from 16 years of just knowning them as them people who bother you at your door to getting to know alot more and their "morals".

  a little prayer for my hubby and i would be greatly appreciated.... grandma passed away last night battling cancer...we stayed by her side to the end... she was a lovely lady...we will miss her tremendously... i could go on forever on, how young she was at heart....... many thanks,.

  So sorry for your loss. Grandmothers are so special. I loved both of mine dearly and i know they loved me. We will have wonderful memories of them to keep in our hearts forever. I wish you and your family much comfort in your time of sadness. Love Arwen
