Yes, I am totally addicted to the board. I don't post every day but I am here reading. I feel very comfortable when I am here as I understand the feelings of people who are new here and remember how nervous I was to post at first. It is a refuge for me to be with friends who totally know where I am coming from.

i look at some of the amounts that some have posted wow and i am no better for only being here less than a month, it is a great place to talk and get loads of wisdom from others on a variety of subjects, thanks everyone for the thoughtful expressions and heartfelt posts.. abr.

My Mom passed away today.
by Finally-Free inafter a lenthy illness, 10 years in total, my mother, margaret stecko, passed away peacefully today surrounded by family.
she was 84, and leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
she was a jw but never shunned me.

Selfishness is the worst personality trait a person can have. It leads to so many other negative attitudes. I try to avoid being around people that are like this. It doesn't take long to figure it out either.

A good friend is one who loves you unconditionally. A person who likes being with you in good times and in bad. Someone who respects you for who you are when you don't even know yourself. Someone who will laugh with you and cry with you. A good friend is a person that you KNOW loves you and that you can trust with your life. Dear Warlock's friend; I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. I understand your pain. The past is not easily forgotten. If you can just try and get through one day at a time then things will get better. My life has changed 180 degrees in just two years. I can not believe it. There were a few times where I thought I would "throw in the towel" so to speak but I had a good friend like Warlock that helped me thru it. We are all here for you. I also sent a email to Nancy Grace. I suggested looking at the Silentlambs website and mentioned the "two witness rule" that is followed. Maybe someone will read it and look into it. One never knows. It is better to do something than to do nothing. Maybe we should all send a little note.

Hambeaks Extremely Heartbreaking News
by Sparkplug inour friend hambeak just got the most dreaded phone call from his jw child.
the news was passed on as he was asked for by name and not as"dad" and let known that "they" just called to let him know that his other son, brian, age 26, is dead.
he was in a car accident.
