that feeling reminds you that it's okay to not be sure about everything and it's okay to love persons even if they don't read the same literature or hold the same views as you.. it's okay to make mistakes because the people who love you will not pull back their love and association because of it.. the persons who are around you genuinely love you and are not just trying to portray 'love' because it looks good to 'potential' sheep.. it's even okay to try new things and it isn't a bad thing when you're actually enjoying life.. i don't have to try to be someone that i'm not and my worth is not, not.... my worth is not measured by a number on a piece of paper.. i can go through life at my own pace and i can be different.. that feeling reminds me that i can be myself!.
i know that you get that feeling also.

My 66th birthday is today!!
by Terry inonce i was little boy in fort worth, texas living with my maw maw and paw paw and mommy.. then, i was an 18 year old 6'4'' skinny 165lb religious nut being dipped in a baptismal during a local assembly.. suddenly, i was 20 and listening to a jail cell door clang behind me as a conscientious objector.. wow!
23 years old and put on parole until my 6 years sentence was ended!
i got married to a nice jw girl and had 3 kids!.

How did you feel making your first post here?

i stayed home from work for four days scared to go out of my house thinking god would strike me down by lightening if was wrong with my thoughts... i couldn't sleep at all.... but i had to take that first step... as scary as it was....

I was secretly reading on E watchman and there was a link to JWD. At that time E watchman was still a Witness so I didnt feel guilty about reading his stuff but i debated about going to that link... I was very, very nervous but finally hit the enter and after reading for months made my first post.. I called it baby steps.. Thank God for that day!!

I lost a good friend yesterday
by zed is dead ini am really going to miss having her as a close friend.
we both helped each other this past year, as we were both dealing with the passing of people we loved.
she was a strong part of my support group.

My sister got a call the other night from a guy who asked her if she had a computer. Because we already knew about this scam she said to him.. yes, I have 68 computers. and he said are they all connected together and she said no they are all individually connected. He asked. could you turn one on? and she said.. I dont know how to turn them on. He says. Is there anyone there that knows how to turn one on. She said my husband knows how to turn them on but he died. and I am so lonely would you like to come over.. I am so sad... on and on pretending she was crying.. He said. where do you live? and she said New York City.. and he hung up! We had a great laugh over that.. Scammers.. being scammed by scammers! Love it!
