Whats your worst household chore.........?
by vitty in......................mine has got to be the weekly grocery shop....................oh how i dread and hate it.
i used to think it was the ironing but id rather do a ton of ironing if i didnt have to shop.. its so boring, same food week in week out.................loading it onto the conveyer belt, packing it putting it in the car.........taking it out of the car...........putting it into cupboards then saying " what shall i cook for dinner?
" but by then i just can face the food.. so whats yours?, mowing the lawn and cleaning the car are included .

Anyone Diabetic To Answer A Question?
by Sunspot inis there anyone here that is diabetic that could answer something for me?
i am doing the finger sticking 4 times a day and have weird stuff happening.
i am very new to this and cannot afford the "training session" that my doctor wanted me to go to......just found out my friend was just diagnosed about the same time i was....and she cannot afford the same session either!.

Should I marry a JW ?

he is a great man, the only thing i am not so sure about is his "religious" beliefs.

Please do all the reading and researching you can and get his truthful answers before you even consider marriage. I am sure he is a wonderful man but he is controlled by an organization that tells him what and what no he is able to do. He has to obey these "men" to the ultimate or he will be ousted. He will be forever trying to please these "men" and your needs, wants, and emotions will be last on his list. My ex became a JW after five years of our marriage and for the next five years I was so damaged that I will never be the same person again. When I tried to end the marriage he kidnapped our two sons and I didn't see them or know where they were for six month. They were four and nine. They were assisted by different Witness congregations in different provinces. So tread very carefully my dear girl....Life is too short to be so uphappy.

by Had Enough ini just got an email today telling me of an email circulation among the jws about an newspaper article in coquitlam, british columbia in canada.
currently, the jws are not exempt from paying city taxes.
it reports that the council is reviewing its policy on tax breaks to be given to certain groups.

Hi Richie; I am sure it must have been difficult for your mom to break down and call you but be very careful. You don't want to be hurt again. Take it slow. Write a "sweet" letter or call and leave a voicemail when you know she will be at the meeting. Be sure to tell her you love her. As someone said; She is a victim herself although she doesn't realize it. Be kind to her. It will come back to you. I'll keep you in my prayers...Take care....Love Arwen

Crosses (on necklaces and hanging in your home)

i got to thinking.......... how do people feel about wearing crosses as a memorial or remembrance of what jesus went through for us?.
does anyone remember witnesses using this explanation as to why they don't wear crosses or hang them in their home?

I would love to buy a cross necklace or have someone give me one for a gift but I don't know if I am mentally ready for that yet. The place where I am now in my head is kind of blah.....I am thinking seriously about seeing a therapist. When I start "thinking" I get angry. I need to cross a few more bridges before I get the cross....
