I am a Gemini and I really show all the traits...good and bad! I usually start a conversation with,"Let me introduce myselves!".....Seriously, I am always fighting with myself about things. My best friend, Meljohn is also a Gemini and we are so much alike it is not even funny. My husband is a Sagittarius, his birthday is exactly six months to the day later than mine and we are a very good match. I would never ever read anything to do with astrology as a JW but now I realize that it is harmless fun. I have had my palm read a few times but I am still waiting for most of the things to happen!!!

Open letter to Jehovah's Witnesses
by hubert ini was looking up my old hard copies that i printed out through the years from jwd, and came across this powerful post by "outaservice".. it is an open letter written by a "gaila noble" from arizona.
it was posted on january 30, 2002 by outaservice, and he gave me permission to copy/paste it into a new thread, for the benefit of all the newbies and others who have never seen it.

JWD outage -- what if it were longer or worse, permanent?

Leaving Florida and Moving to Ontario!

my husband was offered an incredible job in canada so we flew up here to check it out.

Do you find the forum addictive?

do you like keeping up with fellow posters and friends or do like being able to give your thoughts without the fear of being criticized?
i look at some of the amounts that some have posted wow and i am no better for only being here less than a month, it is a great place to talk and get loads of wisdom from others on a variety of subjects, thanks everyone for the thoughtful expressions and heartfelt posts.. abr.

Yes, I am totally addicted to the board. I don't post every day but I am here reading. I feel very comfortable when I am here as I understand the feelings of people who are new here and remember how nervous I was to post at first. It is a refuge for me to be with friends who totally know where I am coming from.

My Mom passed away today.
by Finally-Free inafter a lenthy illness, 10 years in total, my mother, margaret stecko, passed away peacefully today surrounded by family.
she was 84, and leaves behind 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
she was a jw but never shunned me.

Selfishness is the worst personality trait a person can have. It leads to so many other negative attitudes. I try to avoid being around people that are like this. It doesn't take long to figure it out either.

A good friend is one who loves you unconditionally. A person who likes being with you in good times and in bad. Someone who respects you for who you are when you don't even know yourself. Someone who will laugh with you and cry with you. A good friend is a person that you KNOW loves you and that you can trust with your life. Dear Warlock's friend; I am so sorry you are feeling so bad. I understand your pain. The past is not easily forgotten. If you can just try and get through one day at a time then things will get better. My life has changed 180 degrees in just two years. I can not believe it. There were a few times where I thought I would "throw in the towel" so to speak but I had a good friend like Warlock that helped me thru it. We are all here for you. Just give us a chance to tell you how much we care. Love Arwen
