  I am not JW but i have a q uestion for you guys and gals

  k theres this girl at my school, i absolutely fell in love with her, i'm serious to, it's not just a fling....it's love, her eyes, her smile, her personality, i truely love her, and recently she told me she couldn't go out with me because of her religion,(jw), she crushed my heart, .

  now plzzzzz tell me.......when would she ever be allowed to date...cause this feeling for her will never die......i love her.

  why would i get a feeling as important as this, if it could never be

  I can only hope that -lostsouls- continues to read....

  Since you truly want to be with this girl .. here is my simple ideas.

  Don't try to 'date' her since she is so 'IN' the religion. Try and become a very good,nice "acquaintance". The only asscociation that is barely okay outside the WTS. Just talk to her and let her talk to you. Get her comfortable with you enough to share her thoughts and fears. No matter what you should become good friends from this and because you are there for her she wont be able to completely deny your friendship. Study about the WTS extensivly(on your own)Find small little details that are lies within the WTS. Eventually you can bring it up casually with her. Ask her out of "curiosity" and get her to research the answers on her own 'for you'. Don't push it. Later on you can ask her about another 'issue' you have. Have her research that as well. Eventually she will start to see a trend of questions with no answers from the WTS that make any sense and her doubt will be seeded. .........

  Since this in itself may take a long while I can't feel the need to post anymore about it untill this has or hasn't come to happen.

  JMO-- Hope things go well for you no matter the outcome.

  My daughter and her grandparents

  since i talked to my father after my disfellowshipping and he hung up on me, i haven't talked to my mom or dad.

  last month when we were in ontario i talked to my uncle and aunts about how my parents are treating us (shunning) and we got a lot of support from them, and they can't understand why my mom and dad would treat us like that.

  anyway, my 7 year old daughter overheard the conversations, even though i was trying to keep the situation away from her as i don't think a child really needs to know all the details of the situation.. on the drive home out of the blue my daughter says she wants to call my parents, so we ask why?

  From what I understand.. family is allowed to speak w/ df'd ones if they HAVE to as long as they don't discuss religion. So if the grandparents wanted to visit thier grandchild they can but the conversation between themselves and the df'd one needs to be brief.. ex " Hello.. we are here to have a visit w/ our grandchild.. may we take her to the park for an hour or two?". They seem to be taking a different idea on how it works or how to behave. ==clarification: this isn't how I think it should be.. i am just stating how I understood it to be while under the mind control of the WTS.

  Sunday meeting was canceled??

  my mother got a call sunday evening from her friend.

  she told her that the meeting sunday was canceled because they were expecting the storm??!!

  also that since it was canceled for sunday they had the meeting on saturday??!!!

  speaking of Mom- I just spoke to her. Here is how it really went down. Friday she got a call from her friend saying the Sunday meeting is canceled. Sunday mom called the time guy and asked if it was really canceled and he said yes.. and we had it on Sat instead. She asked about them not being called and he said that was the job of her book study conductor. --- I said how I don't get why they cancel a meeting for no reason. She said its not for no reason they were expecting bad weather. ?? UUmm. every station on Thur and Fri were saying IF we got anything at all it would be at the most 2 inches of much needed rain. "So.. whats your point?" mom asked. It just doesn't make since mom. -- she changes the subject.... (( i mean.. what about all those talks about how bad other people have it when they have to walk through alligator infested swamps to make it to a meeting , so what trouble could we be having that is keeping us away. ) I guess the answer is the 2% chance of ......... rain!!!!!

  I am still trying to call the KH there to ask questions and no answer. Does anyone know the best time to call beside DURING a meeting?

  Convention video?

  i remember seeing on here, a month or two ago, someone had posted video clips of a district convention.

  i wasn't able to access them at the time.

  not being a jw, i'm interested in seeing what they are all about.

  I tried calling his KH and there was no answer. You could tell dad is not wanting to know more then he does since he asked me " what would you do that for??" re: calling the KH.
