Then we got off the phone.
That is scary!! Where do you think he came up w/ that conclusion??

i posted on another thread a bit ago and it reminded me of how kind and warm and supportive so many jwd womenz have been.
sometimes we don't sieze the opportunities we have to let others know how much we appreciate their caring and support.. i lurv you womenz!!!

i am going to relax relax realx.. wife is out of town, so i might go to the bar( just joking) watch alittle football on sunday.
Today is yucky and I hope it clears up for tomorrow. I am going to my MIL house - its a farm and when it rains..yuck. Mud everywhere! But the kids like seeing the horse and the Mule and the chickens and the geese. Then Sat.. well no plans. There is football.
Oh and Daystar!!!! Its nice to find out through the board that you are thinking of coming over to my house Sunday. Lol. Yes.. you can come over. We would really enjoy it!!! You bringing beer? We have some but dont know how much.

now if they were only giving them to my children, i would raise cain, because it is an obvious attempt to imply that they have to provide what i am not.
it is also an influence ploy, in that by giving them a gift, it obligates them to use the gift.. but they gave them to all the kids and everyone at the book study.
the sweet part was that i actually showed up.

I would think that no matter what you are talking about..if you tell someone that what they have believed all this time is wrong you may deal with thier harsh reaction.
Telling someone " Btw.. 20 yrs ago I adopted you" would get a violent reaction as well. You rock someones world with info they may not be ready to hear or handle.
When my ex-husband starting telling me about holidays ( he was non-jw) and how Jw logic was silly since you can trace pagen origin to almost everything ..etc. I yelled at him and ran to my closet and sat holding my knees rocking back and forth. I felt crazy! I figured he must be evil and trying to lure me away from the "truth".
Then I started hearing the same information from other people and started thinking.. "What if they are right?"
ok, i've been watching the show "inked" on a&e and i think it's a really cool show about tattoo artists in las vegas.
and lately i've been thinking about getting a tattoo somewhere on my body, possiblely my lower back.
my sister has one there and i think it's really cool.
I have struggled with the idea of a tattoo.I am guessing from the brainwashing from being JW. Putting something on my body.. my beautiful body that god gave me.. why mark it up. On the other hand.. I REALLY WANT ONE. I have wanted one for a while. Something to do with wolves.. morphing.. night sky. Haven't decided yet.
