  hi again kids!

  i was thinking last night about what i could do to help quotes out, and really, to help everyone fight back and support quotes in his time of need.

  so, i came up with the idea of tshirts.

  i had the opportunity to have lunch with an old jw friend of mine recently.

  it was quite surreal.

  i have forgotten the absolute depression and control they feel.. whereas i am happily yacking away about the improvements in my life, college, job, etc... happy marriage, going on vacation ... blah blah blah.. she says how she's still married but unhappily but she is waiting on the 'new system' and sorta chatters on about how 'bad' this system is getting, etc.

  It does seem that whenever having convos w/ other JWs the convo is usually about the same ol' stuff. "we can't wait till the new system" and complaining about everything and how its cause of satan not because of anything we did. And gossiping about how others aren't going to the meetings and speculation of what happened to them. Then patting yourself on the back for hours in service etc. I love it when they talk about how loving and forgiving Jesus and Jehovah are but yet.. when I worked hard at becoming reinstated to have a 'clean' slate and was still shunned and kids were told i was still 'bad association'. They have this ' I am better then everyone else' attitude. I feel SPECIAL now because I don't have to feel forced to attend a meeting and listen to liars and pretenders. I feel SPECIAL now that I can learn about things without guilt of betrayel.

  she says "hi.. this is ' ' i was just calling to see how you are doing.

  i go to ' local congo'.

  The funny thing is - just two weeks ago on a Sat around 10.(break time) Some JWs stopped by my house and I was extremly busy so I opened the door and immediatly said " Sorry but you have come at a really bad time" He waves a mag at me as if to say I am wanting to leave this with you. I said " yea just leave it at the door" Then shut the door. Later when I checked to see what he left it was one of those Paradise mags. The people that were at the door have been to my house and know that I am technically a JW why would they leave me a mag that i not only studied but placed at doors myself many times??? Why are they coming to my house as if to 'witness' to me???? If they want to be helpful then leave me the newest mags! And heres what really gets my goat (no pun intended )... but I bet they used my house on their 'time'.

  That is funny! Thats exactly how I felt when I heard it. Wow.. they did a rush job on saving someones life! They don't want anyone thinking " man.. you mean the perfect elders that pray to jehovah for his holy spirit before making any decision actually made a WRONG decision????"

  ya know.. i wouldn't mind calling her back and saying how I would like to get a copy of the up to date watchtower and awakes. Since i am choosing to 'study' at home for ease of understanding. Since going to the meetings w/ 3 kids makes it almost impossible to really listen and understand the goings on. -- But really needing the WT to see whats going on with JWs so I can better talk w/ family and help them slowly see the problems they are now blind to.

  Does anyone who Left Jehovahs Organization, still......

  honestly do you?

  or is it collecting dust on a table or shelf somewhere?

  I used to keep it by my bed for when I had nightmares about demons and i would wake up and be scared to go back to sleep and have another nightmare so i would take the bible and read some of Psalms to calm me down. Now that I am fading.. i haven't had nightmares that were so scary anymore. Does that mean god isn't with me since the demons aren't scaring me anymore?? Ya know.. cause they only torment you to get you away from god and all....(so the meetings tell you)

I was given your ph # and was excited about calling you. I hope you call me my number is ' ' and have a great evening. "

  This bothers me. Someone either in the congo that knows us or an elder gave someone our ph# without asking us if its okay.

  What should I do? Call her and ask her to dinner? lol (since hubby is DFd i wonder what she would say)

  I can't really out myself to her since family of hubby goes there and we are trying not to stir the family pot.

  I really want to know who gave out my # though.. even just to tell them to NEVER give out someones ph# without thier permission.

  Not Daily - more when i am researching for the WT study or trying to understand the reasoning behind one of the many forbidden things. But if you have one of those little books .. daily scripture ..something. I forget.. you don't need to read the bible daily.. just that thing.
