all I can say regarding this post is how infantile! I wonder how loud you folks would be screaming if this were done to one of your pet organizations?

"oh how infantile" "how childish" get a grip. We can have a little fun here and there. You can't tell that you didn't pull at least a few little pranks during you days at SC? I think it'll be fun to watch some of my liberal and gay friends have a stroke when they check their mail.

As princess said, I do not have any "pet" organizations and if I did I usually check to see how an organization utilizes their money before contributing to them.

Now I'm wondering if PETA does the same thing. (evil grin)

How do you deal with telemarketers?

At the office we have a contract with our copier lease that includes toner. However, I always get calls that go like this:

Telemarketer: Hi, I'm calling from the company that supplies your toner.

Me: Oh, hey. How are you?

Telemarketer: I'm good, but I have some bad news for you. I'm calling to let you know the price of your toner went up. I need to confirm the model number of the copier with you to make sure our prices are accurate.

Me: Sharp blah blah blah

Telemarketer: Great. That's what I have in my files. Yeah the prices did go up significantly.

Me: Oh, that's not good.

Telemarketer: I'm sorry. However, I do have a few I can sell you at the old price since we didn't give you enough notice.

Me: What was the old price?

Telemarketer: $$$$

Me: Wow that's alot more than what we were paying.

Telemarketer: How much were you paying.

Me: Nothing, you see we have a contract...

CLICK - They hang up as they know they've been caught.

i work with a young woman in her mid-thirties that is openly lesbian.

we have been friends for about 10 years when she first started working at the company.

i was crazy about her before she came out as "gay" and i still have a good time working with her.

the society's new tract should be sent to all gay and lesbian groups, warning them about a door to door message that denigrates them.. i would especially target local groups in convention cities in which large gay communities exist.

the tract deserves one simple reply:.

"doesn't false prophecy identify false religion?".

I agree Daniel. My mom tells me about the various brothers and sisters she knows that have gay children that left the borg. Many still talk to their kids too. Blood is thicker than holy water.
