  Best way to step down from being a servant

  hey i'm wondering if anyone can give some good advice on how to step down in the safest way.. i have served as an ms for a number of years, but can't do it anymore.

  i know too much i want to fade in the future when i get some family things straightened out.

  i can't move right now so that's out unfortunately.. what should i tell the body?

  Just a thought; you could tell them you hear Jehovah and the angels speaking to you. The doctor gave you pills, but you won't take them because they prevent you from hearing these holy voices. A sister™ in my old hall did that, and the elders couldn't 'lose' her quickly enough, and she never got df'd. Everyone was happy to forget she ever existed. I don't know if she really had an illness or was a very good faker, but she dropped off the radar in record time.

  Alternatively, you could just grow a beard and let them delete you for it.

  this is probably the stupidest thing to ever be wriiten on here, but i need to just talk/type it out.. my cat got run over last night & killed, i am a complete mess.

  my hubby has gone away with work today for a few days today so im on my own & i cant cope.

  i know loads of you will think, it was just a cat get over it, but dam i hurt so much.

  So sorry for your loss. Our animal companions are much more than mere 'pets'. They become a part of our family, and a part of who we are. I'd be devastated if something happened to my birds. They're the only source of joy I have in my life anymore.

  I have no use for any politicians. Maybe that's because I work in a political environment. People don't mean squat. It's all about getting votes, even after your elected.

  Are JWs the worst restaurant customers?

  (a little background info before i ask my question...).

  my sister-in-law (non-jw), who manages a popular chain restaurant near a kingdom hall, just found out that my wife and i have recently faded, so she decided to get something off her chest the other day... you guessed it: she wanted us to know that jws are the worst customers ever!

  she then told us some really embarrassing stories about how jws would request a table for 15 to 20 people (after a sunday meeting) and then (when the bill came) some of the jws would start deliberating amongst themselves on whether or not the waiter was diligent or not (to justify the low tip he was getting anyway).

  Don't be silly! There's no point in tipping dirty, filthy worldly people who will just be birdfood at armageddon. The money is better spent on gas for the car to go out in field circus.

  Are women more spiritual then men?

  before you women jump all over me, this is just a observation.. first of all at least in this country women out number men in religion,.

  across the board,(jw,s,baptist, catholic etc.

  ) you walk in any church.

  How many single men will you see in the churches, but the women, they are there.

  *note to self: go to church to pick up chicks.

  I remember the meetings at the hall. The women were taking notes and the men were snoozing.

  i love my mother with all my heart.

  i purchased an airline ticket for her to visit my sister, one that hasn't spoken to me for over 7 years.

  my sis wants me to send her the itinerary of my mothers trip, asking her for it.

  Can I Say Anything Positive about JW's to the Wife?

  mrs punk and i no longer discuss the jw business posing as religion.. all i get is a hand thrust into my face and a shout of: 'if you can't be positive don't say anything!!'.

  i explain i am not trying to be 'negitive' but trying to be informative, factual and honest.

  this is because mrs punk would ask: 'why don't you go to meetings anymore?'.

  I went through the same shit with my ex. She refused to accept that my constitutional right to freedom of religion and expression was equal to hers. She refused to get it through her head that I would give an honest answer to questions she asked me, and that a simple solution was to stop asking me questions when she knew damn well she wouldn't like the answers.

  In short, she was looking for a fight.

  my sig other and i have successfully faded, and the last kh i attended (cards were moved to) was like 8+ years ago.

  i really do not care either way, however i have been asking myself as of late if i should.
