  On JWN .. are you a teacher or student ?

  likely most poeple feel that they at times can and should be both , that is a teacher or a student.

  i know i have learned and gained much insight into many things here.. but most often.

  fail to make acknowledgement... not sure why i guess i hate for a person to feel i am flattering them or kissing up.

  I don't know much about your situation, but if I was young I'd be quiet and let them pay for my education first. Then I'd get a good job and an apartment. When I didn't depend on them for anything I'd start asking them questions, and stick to topics I felt might be an issue for them.

  How Come I Rarely See People In Field Service, Vs The 1980-1990s Doing House2House?

  field service hours have hit new records each year, but i am seeing less people working the territory.

  where is all the time spent, that people are putting in the field ministry?

  it's been close to ten years, since i have seen people working certain territories.

  In the '80s we worked our territories every 2 months. In the 4 years I've lived in my current home I've seen them 3 times, once at my door and twice on the street. I've also had 2 memorial invites stuck in my mailbox.

  What's really surprising is that I don't even see them in the donut shops here.

  You have never heard of anyone have a bad day in field service, Right!

  i grew up hearing that over and over.

  i used to think about those bumper stickers that say i would rather be golfing or fishing.

  jw's should have bumper stickers that say i would rather be going door to door.. once i got old enough to understand it, i used to beat myself up all the time because some of the most hellish days of my life have been out in service.. for so many reasons even more then i will list!.

  The worst day I had in FS was when I slipped on some ice in someone's driveway. I injured my knee, so the other JWs packed me into a station wagon and drove me home. Then they went back out in service.

  It would have been nice if someone at least helped me get my boots off and get up the stairs once I was home.

  Jehovah created the moon, the stars, the sky, so if he did that, he can find another job for you.

  Not before you lose your home though. Happened to me. Twice.

  Going back to school improved the situation.

  "Get out of the bleachers and into the game"... Memorial 2012 demonstration.

  now is a good time to start making preparations for the memorial night demonstration at your kingdom hall thursday, april 5, 2012, after sundown.. close to 20 million people will attend this annual global witness event including active witnesses, relatives and friends of witnesses, bible studies,return visits and still attached former witnesses.

  the evils of the watchtower org.have to be exposed and this is an ideal time to do it.. many around the world have been adversely affected by their association with jehovah's witnesses and you can be an instrumental force by standing tall and courageously exposing the watchtower organization.. there is no better way to let the watchtower know your revulsion than to broadcast and present your view by standing fearlessly, demonstrating in front of a kingdom hall.. i am fully aware that a handful of the internet therapists who post on this forum will not agree with this method of unmasking the watchtower.. those intolerant, contemptuous critics who will comment on this thread making harsh judgements and finding fault with those who protest are perhaps deep-down wishing they had the backbone to stop hiding in cyber-space, step away from their computer and "get out of the bleachers and into the game" .

  I don't come here very often any more, but every time I do koolaid guy's garbage is always near the top of the list. This forum is starting to look like it's about koolaid guy rather than Jehovah's Witnesses. Maybe it's appropriate. He's more annoying then they are.

  if you still go or remember the days when you did what did you think about while you were sat there?

  obviously it's very difficult to concentrate.. lol..assemblies i find impossible and have often drifted off to sleep, listening to the endless same old stuff.. .
