defd does accomplish a lot of good here though. His presence here is a constant reminder to us about the oppression and stupidity we have left behind. If anyone ever has a sudden but brief irrational urge to go back to the kingdom hall, they have only to read one or two of his posts before they're shocked back to their senses.

Do JWs give you the creeps?

i'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but i've recently begun to get the willies when i'm around an active jehovah's witness.

They don't give me the creeps - they're too insignificant to do that.

Most of the JWs I run in to get all "bug-eyed" when they see me, and they just stand and stare stupidly. Some of them look like they'd like to talk to me and are waiting for me to make the first move. It won't happen. I enjoy the shunning because I no longer have to listen to their stupidity.

there wouldn't be thousands of different religions around the world, and people killing one another in the name of god.

If there is such a thing as a "God of love" who is omnipotent then the bible is the last thing he could ever be associated with. A "God of love" who is omnipotent should have reasonably good communication skills. Humans have studied the bible for thousands of years and are still divided and confused about it. That is not indicative of an author who has good communication skills. And the butchery of the old testament does not sound much like a "God of love". The bible is nothing more than a book written by men. It's purpose is to confuse, divide, and ultimately oppress the masses. W

im taking 5 courses, what should i get?

i'm probably gonna get 5 spiral notebooks, the really nice ones.

I'm taking online courses from the confort of my own home. Virtual classroom with audio/videoconferencing. I just sit here in my underwear, and I can smoke and drink as much coffee as I want. I can order in pizza too.

but i wouldn't drive after 4 or 5, not that i,d be drunk, but not to get in trouble.. does it show that i'm in my 4th beer.....

I was nearly shocked by this, however I remembered you guys over in America don't drink pints nor real beer!

JH is not in America, he's in Canada like me. We brew some of the best beers in the world.

Which brings me to my question?

JH, WTF are you doing drinking Bud Light???

Buy some real beer.
