i have a wt-cd rom, but it's an older one from 1997. if anyone wants it, lemme know and i'm mail it to you.
it's free, but if you'd care to make a small contribution, i'll make sure it goes on a bottle of good wine towards the world wide witnessing work.........

The purely religious identification is irrelevant
It's not entirely irrelevant, as Jehovah's Witnesses often boast that these tradegies happen to others, not to them.
It shows that Jehovah's Witnesses are not immune to these problems, and thus they are no better than anyone else, which is contrary to what they want people to believe.

well, as a nice start to the new year, the jan 1st watchtower article, "how firm is your trust in god" blasts those who live comfortable lives, those who don't reach out, and those who pursue higher education.. definitely, they are taking a harsher stand, having completely painted themselves into a corner.. i highlighted the interesting comments.
i did not include all the text for each paragraph, just the main points.. .
1 a young man wanted to be more useful to the congregation.
guns, should jw's have them?
i know brothers that hunt on wt property in ny for deer.
what is the answer????
Being a JW didn't stop me from having guns, and I still have them. I use them for hunting, and would never hurt or threaten anyone with them.
But there are few things as nice to wake up to as venison sausages for breakfast!

i came upon this letter to the editor in my morning newspaper:.
churches ought to be taxed like others.
after sept. 11, 2001, i think it was jerry falwell who said that it happened because people turned away from god.
I think any charitible organization should be closely regulated to make sure a certain amount of revenue actually is used for charitible purposes. (like running a soup kitchen or something)
The Watchtower rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars but do NOTHING that even remotely resembles charitible work. When I was Account Sevant the only charitible work the congregation paid for was to send flowers to a funeral once. Surplus money is always transferred to their other corporations, which are also charitible organizations. They use the money to improve or acquire real estate.

for those who pioneered, how did you support yourselves?
did you struggle to pay household expenses, or live at home?
how did you get by without starving?
Were any of these free loaders pioneers?
No, the aging receivables were mostly my own fault. I didn't keep close track of them because I was too busy trying to get my time; neither did I impress upon my ex the importance of keeping our paperwork up to date.
There were some brothers™, some of them pioneers™, however, who seemed to view my knee injury as a blessing from Jehovah. Several immediately went out to my customers and undercut my prices while I was incapacitated. How did they know who my customers were, and the prices? My ex was doing some of the work and she spotted a MS (in his big, white cadillac fleetwood) following her one morning. Interestingly, a clipboard with customer and price lists was missing from the car when she got back to it. I started losing customers in several parts of the city after that.

for about a week or so now!
it all started one day when i was in the laundy room and i heard my husband pull up in the driveway, shut his door, unlock the door to the house, shut the house door, so i go down to greet him ( with a big kiss and hug, as i always do
anyway i get down stairs and he is not there so i assumed that he was already out feeding comet!
I not really scared just a bit pissed! If there is one here I expect some RENT money!
I agree. I've got one of those bastards in my house too. He stole my last beer from me, a Sleemans Honey Brown, and didn't even leave the empty bottle behind! I've been looking for it for months! Maybe he cashed it in for the refund.

gawd, i forgot how immersed jw's are.
everything you see has some part of the wts involved with it, from the calendar on the fridge to the pictures on the walls, you can't get away from it.
of course i love my brother to death, but i tell ya, i've only been here overnight and it's already getting to me.
Sounds like his house is FULL of idols!
Protect yourself from demon attack while you're there! They hide in these idols, you know! The feeling of being smothered is no coincidence! It's a demon that wants to have SEX with you.
A Crucifix and Holy Water may help you.

what articles or scriptures do jw use to support their belief that they should not take a brother to court?.
jez
no problem here that a baseball bat wouldn't fix!
No, I went a step further - I ruined his business and made some money doing it. I kept my mouth shut, and a year later went to work for him. I sold some of his business to a "worldly" guy. It's worth amounted to $70 K per year. The MS never knew what hit him, just that he lost a ton of customers almost overnight.

this one bastard.
I knew a few people who fit this description in the halls I was in. I got stiffed for over $3,000 by one, and the elders refused to hear about it, much less deal with him. He screwed over quite a few brothers™, and many of them complained about him, but he remained a MS. One person who complained about him was DF'd for it.
