i woke up today a right grumpy basket case.... not a good day for the jehovah's witness to call on me to do there usual shepherding call, bringing me the usual mags of shite!
i stood there on the doorstep in my pj's, care free and all fired up.
i was asked how i was doing & then informed that they had my latest mags.
I ran upstairs to the bedroom. Opened the Blinds. And Stood There going 'Oh Yer, Oh Yer' (whilst rotating the hands with the body rolling actions). I then proceeded to Stick my Fingers Up at them on both hands rocking around like I was playing an air guitar.... Not at all lady like but GOD if felt GOOD...
I'd need at least 4 coffees in me before I could do that. Great job!

i know of someone that has made no bones about being somewhat unhappily married.

as a child i had many cats and delighted in putting my doll clothes on them and rocking them in the rocking chair..i would even make a tent on my mom's bed and put them in it like they were in a cave..i had a great imigination... they would tolerate it for a while and then decide the fun was over..picky cats.... so if you have animals do you dress them up now?
or did you or your kids dress them up?

Yes, they'd be happy to see me because I'm such a peaceful and obedient person. The sisters would drool over me and the brothers would love my lack of sense stress and modulation, which is an excellent sleep aid.

I gave Rocco his hat in photoshop. If I tried to do it for real I'd probably lose a finger. He's loving and tolerant, but he has his limits.

this has been discussed before in other threads and probably in threads of its own, but it is probably time to re-hash the topic.. when paul told timothy that "all scripture is inspired of god..." what "scripture" was he talking about?
did he have the ego to include his own personal letters to the congregations?
did he also mean to include the books and letters not written at the time that the catholic church would choose for its canon a couple hundred years later?

i'll start off.. i don't believe anything is divine about bible writings.
i believe there may be some marginal history although not much.
i think alot of folk tales and regional myths are contained in the old testament.
I believe the bible writings are based on perceptions unique to the people who wrote them. These perceptions could have been influenced by environment, things they were taught, things that they couldn't explain without resorting to the 'supernatural', peer pressure, intoxication, mental illness, or just about anything.
An 'omnipotent' being would probably have better communication skills, and people wouldn't have to be arguing about it thousands of years later.
