dear sir,.
a complaint has been registered against you with the federal authorities in the usa.. the complaints center on slander and character assassination emanating from members posting on your jehovah's witnesses network forum, and online stalking.
all details have now gone to the fbi on federal plaza in new york for their immediate attention.. ([email protected]).
So JWN is now at the center of international intrigue? Cool!
Do you think the FBI will make Rocco take off his santa hat?

do you consider being an exjw a hindrance to dating?
for example, do you find it difficult to bring up in conversation, lest you get stared at as if you have 2 heads or something?
or you might find it difficult to explain why you've had little sexual experience in the past?.
Only if they were like me - no connection to the JWs via family, friends, employment, etc.

when i come to this forum and read the topics of the day, it disturbs me that some always have objections and comments that are negative.
what source of encouragement is there when one breaks down the story of others?
what's your personal gain, what's the satisfaction?
I haven't been to the hall in ages
I have a fleshly older brother
How do you define "ages"? Weeks? Months? Certainly not years. It sounds to me like you haven't been out long. The second quote is clearly cult lingo, which leads me to believe that you may have stopped going to meetings, but have a long way to go before you're out mentally. I've only heard JWs make such a distinction; most people know what brothers and sisters are, and don't have to add the word "fleshly" to make themselves understood.
As for the negative comments, welcome to the real world.

Yes. Now I'm an asshole outside of the organization.

so in the hustle and shuffle of moving i must have left my entire collection literally in the appartment parking lot.
just to give you an idea of what was in there i had about a dozen america and canadian silver dollars, a couple gold coins, a bunch of ancient coins from the 1600s, old canadian paper money and us money and a bunch of coins, stamps, paper currency ive been collecting since i was a kid.. all in all my stuff was worth in the 5-7 thousand dollar range.
believe it or not a young guy in his mid twenties from the appartments across the st came over and asked me if i lost anything and what my name was.
i know he has a young child and seems to be struggling like the rest of us so im gonna fix him up.
Imagine if he did something so extraordinary for a JW. He'd probably get a watchtower rag as a reward.
Every so often my faith in human nature takes a trip down the toilet, so it's nice to read first hand experiences like this.

the senate voted to have the fee merchants charge for swiping your debit card for that starbucks frappabuccio reduced to .12 cents from .44 cents.
every little bit helps but watch out for your bank making it up with fees on your checking accounts and other services..
This is why I:

can those prominent in the "apostate" world be criticized?
we expect that jws be willing to read and swallow what is written here about their leaders and i agree with this.
but...do we also allow criticism of those taking the lead among us?
This is not unique. Whether it's in the watchtower, workplace, circle of friends, discussion forum, or anywhere else, some people will always become more popular or prominent than others. They may be more prominent because of their work, intelligence, money, or simply because they're hot. People seem to have a need to carve out a social status, and some are better at it than others. Popular people will have others rise to their defense, even when they're wrong, and the one criticizing will be ostracized, no matter how right he is. This is a reality of life, and you'll encounter it wherever you go.

it seems that that product is very good.. but, probably, i would need a keyboard.. .
Other than having a prettier face, I wonder if Windows 8 will actually have any new and innovative functionality.
Oops! Time to slap myself silly. This is Microsoft we're talking about. They haven't shown us anything really innovative since they added USB support in Windows 2000. That was the most compelling reason to upgrade from NT 4.

Wonderful. I predict a future filled with filthy monitors and a new generation of repetitive stress injuries.
