there have been three different versions of god given light in the watchtower publications so far;.

I know that deep inside a lot of JWs feel this way, but it still shakes me up when they attack me so bluntly.
I know what you mean. I just emailed a JW who I put on the circuit assembly and interviewed not more than a year ago. Just last week we were exchanging emails on one another's health and family. I then wrote him regarding the need to investigate the religion. Mind you my not being a JW has not been announced yet. He writes back that these are bad thoughts that I am having and that I should never contact him again. Just like that. It shows how effective propaganda is. But it does hurt.

Well...IF you can't make it work its probably better to cut losses and move on. It ain't easy though and it ain't fun. Take it from someone who is going through it.

i work with a lot of people who are very sexually active.
which should mean they are real happy, right?
after all, isn't sex the best feeling in the world and that is why we have such a strong internal sex drive.
Why would I outside of marriage? The lack of any INSIDE of marriage! Thats a big reason for getting out of it. Of course from what I see those outside may not be so lucky themselves. Gosh talk about frustration.

I would say that this was a big factor for me too. Also that I like to cut my losses. But JWs have a hard time being wrong. It goes with the perfectionistic view that they (hey I can truthfully say they now!) hold.
