Reporting feild servie time via email

our hallnow allows you to report your time via email, anyone else do this?.

i kinda takes the sheparding out of the whole thing, doesn't.. not that i am complaining, but aren't the service overseers supose to talk with you so they know how you're doing?.

it will be one of the hardest things you'll ever do, but you will open up your life to endless possibilities.

This about sums it up. I remember my ex's flatline responses to just about everything. I'm so glad I followed through when she again proposed divorce. I have happiness, money, my daughter, possibility of future relationships, women who like me, travel, a full and rich life giving to others yet not robbing myself to give. It doesn't get much better than this. Funny divorces often show up where the problems were in the marriage. My ex still has the same problems that she thought I was causing. I can only hope that she figures things out.

Wuzlovesdubs, good luck to you and yours. PM if you ever feel you need any support on divorce, custody and such. JWs can be a nasty lot once they realize that the other mate may allow blood transfusions and won't be raising the kids as dubs.

Back to the topic....Of course WT doesn't look for this assistance. It's being too part of the "world". They don't do anything for the community that a group would need to do to qualify anyway. Plus they wouldn't want to be obliged to hire any homosexuals as can happen in these programs.

This book was THE book that opened my eyes as to how to reason and think about religion when I was a JW. It opened up possibilities that I felt could be used to explain things happening in our world. Such as how religion and science could actually be explaining the same things, from different points of view.

(I mention this because it shows that reading good quality secular material can open a JW's eyes without being confrontational. Many times we want to attack the insane doctrine and policies of the WT. But for some people they need a more subtle approach.)

Anyway, I am a devoted Asimov fan. This is one of his lesser known works I think that is positively brilliant. A movie was made too of this book, though it took some liberties with the plot and, for me at least, is not as good as the book.
