There has been an unofficial version around for years. I still have it. Its an iSilo file and works on Palm as well. Its doesn't have all pubs but its pretty comprehensive.

i am the secretary in the congregation (don't ask) and i wanted to share with you guys the "meat in due season": .
starting jan 2009, the field service report can be sent until the day 20th of the month, instead of the 6th of each month as it is now.
but, like the letter says: "it is not necessary to announce this change to the congregation".

i have been debating on how best to get the word out about jws and the wts... i have thought about blogs... but i just can't get myself to create the blog... and my youtube videos that i colaborated on with v have been successful on youtube... i have received many comments, and some inquiries from active jws based on the video.
.
i have created an introductory video that will give some background and you can see my style... i am also looking for constructive feedback... at the moment i am using windows movie maker, so the graphics are pretty cruddy, i apologize... if you know of a cheap or free movie editor that would be great.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtdmkgfxml4.
An awesome idea.

in today's ny times there is an article on this topic, and here are two quotes:.
"bad times are good for evangelical churches.
'its a wonderful time, a great evangelistic opportunity for us,' said the rev.
The Watchtower leadership simply does not get it. As life becomes progressively more complex and stress filled, people need more than just dry meetings where you reherse door-to-door talking points. And the constant "do more" drum beat that echos throughout the kingdom halls does not build people up.
Amen. What does WT have to offer? In a time when many have to work longer hours to make ends meet what does WT ask for. More tuff to do! Meetings, service, study, I mean come on.

quite a few people on jwd have said they suffer from complex post traumatic stress disorder ( c-ptsd).
i'm not sure how well this issue has been discussed.
c-ptsd is slightly different than ptsd.
Understanding the impact of our experience can help us to realize that it was traumatic and our reactions are the normal reactions to it.
This can be very important to realize for those of us with Witness family who throw questions at us like: "Why were/are you angry"? Or "Why don't you just move on and forget the Witnesses"?

i was "counseled"* for being mad that my jw boyfriend began dating my sister.
it was wrong of me to have feelings.
any embarrassment i felt was due to being puffed up with pride.
Between them and my ex and counseling, it took me a while after leaving to realize I was really quite normal.

if you grew up a jw, did you always know you weren't going to be one when you grew up?
did you ever have that spark?
i don't think i always knew i wouldn't be one.
I was conflicted. I knew very down deep there was a possibility. But every time I would try to think about it I was so horrified I'd drop the thought and hope that "Jehovah" would resolve the issues I saw. Talk about mind control....

i received the following emails, one yesterday and the other today and thought you'll like to see an example of the positive and the negative messages i regularly receive through webmaster at my website, watchtower documents, llc, www.watchtowerdocuments.com.. .
here's the negative message:.
"i must say that after reading your biography, i am shocked.
Perhaps you could ask your critic how people in christendom betray all that they knew their entire life when they become a witness. It's funny when the shoe is on the other foot how these types cannot reason. Ask this person how much critical study they've done about the witnesses and why they are afraid to. Tell her/him that witnesses spend hours at peoples houses answering questions such as these....but when these householders become witnesses they can no longer discuss issues such as this.
Gumby nailed it here. Keep up the good work.

there is a blood signature petition regarding the dennis lindberg case at this link below:.
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/youthandbloodtransfusiondecision/.
it's been a year now since the 14-year old died, but still there are people on our exjw forum trying to get more signatures before they send it in.. the original story is here:.
Done.

i certainly do.. i have been debating with two jw's on another forum about the un issue.
i have produced so much evidence that the un did have their citeria of support when the wt society became an ngo, all from the un itself.
yet because the wt statements say that they didn't have that criteria and it was changed later the jw's refuse to believe anything else.. sometimes i think what's the point talking to these people.
Always.
