I personally couldnt be more afraid of death, basically i try not to think about it.I think thats why i wanted the JWs to be right so bad because they promise everlasting life i would never die and thats what i want. I want to live forever but if the witnesses arent right,there goes the thought of living forever to and so makes me realize we only have this life so we better make the best of it and live to the fullest.You know how the witnesses are always saying that the paradise is the REAL life, they are wasting the only life they have now on preaching ,meetings and meaningless studies. Missing out on holidays, family etc.......really fun times!

Stilla witness: I can totally relate to you, my mom is the same way, except she very paranoid. I just recently went to my doctor who gave me paxil , im not taking it. My therapist told me i didnt need it.My anxiety has been classifed as a disorder but not rendering meds,if i can stand it.We will see,some days im good others im a mess. Im trying my hardest to stay away from meds, i dont believe they really cure anything.I have really negative thoughts from the doom and gloom ive been taught all my life. So yes Blondie ,i think the borg does CAUSE these problems.IF i hadnt been taught i was going to die every day if i didnt do everything to please God, im might be ok. In fact i know they do.

WT Study on Education - How did it go?
by Inquisitor ini didn't attend the meeting today and i haven't spoken to any fellow witnesses about the study yet.
anyone care to share how their meeting went?
any interesting comments made for or against the wts policy on higher education?

I went to the hall today after my mother practically forced me to go.I was there for the watchtower study only,the main theme- Part time work full time ministry! How do they expect anyone to be able to support themselves on part time work ?You cant make ends meet on part time work-crazy! They were totally discouraging college educations.They made perfectly clear that going to college is not putting kingdom interest first.Pioneering will pay there bills somehow i guess! LOL, I had this look on my face while they were commenting about trades schools and stuf and no college like "are these people nuts or what?" There was one comment from a girl who said she went to community college and what a waste of money tuition was. Everyone in college is immoral too.

Well i just got back home from a night out with the kids i ended up going with my kids aunt and the kids but i didnt really like it,i felt like i was going against Jehovah.

Tetrapod, if you dont believe in the supernatural or the devil,then why have you tested to see whether there is a devil,i dont think your sure.You have said yourself youve played with those boards to see what happens and you pretty much call on the devil to mess with you if there is one.How can you say there is no devil?You are just wanting to see proof i think.

Im with you Tez,im totally confused because of the dubs. I believe God hears our prayers though no matter what standing we are in.Even if we are not part of the WTS.I was outside this afternoon for a short while waiting for my daughter to get off the bus,i looked around me and thought all this beauty the trees,grass,leaf colors,.....there has to be a designer to all this.Could not just have formed itself like that,so perfect.

I see there are many mixed feelings.I just had therapy (which i have every other week) she told me about her experience and why she believes in god as you all know my hubby doesnt because he thinks if there was a god no way would he just sit back and let people suffer and die.I think there is a god because i believe he has already helped me in a couple situations.I had a dream about some wicked spirit forces tryin to bother me i screamed out JEHOVAHS name and boom they were gone! I think Satan is frightened by mention of God,and so he should be because God has the extreme power.Well if i were Lucifer i would be scared of the almighty to!
