lol John- Thanks for directing me to the thread (I wasn't avoiding you, I just missed it).
I didn't leave, with the net (unlike real life) is great because when it gets to be too much I can just turn my computer off and walk away for awhile ;-)
I wasn't gone long though, I always have to see what everyone's up to. Some of you are like family and I miss you after awhile. Thanks, and I'm glad to see all of you are still around and I've missed you CoCo! ~ Hope things are well for you. Thank You Gopher- I had a very nice Birthday this year. -

Since I was about 15 I've had people say I look like Julia Roberts; and a few years ago when I wore my hair short and black (when "The Matrix" was big) I had lots of people say I looked like Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) I went to see the movie after awhile to see who she was because I had no idea.

How do you react.....
by restrangled inwhen you see someone needing help in a public place?
i usually avoid eye contact, but then feel guilty all day.
for instance when you pull up to a light and people are standing there with a sign or actually walk up to your window...i won't ever roll down a window.. today i pulled into the local grocery store parking lot, and there standing with a walker, was a middle aged latino man with his lower legs in some sort of braces.

That's great R- you're really a very thoughtful, nice person.
I've never done anything like what you did, but usually if I have cash I'll give it to people I can tell need it. If someone is smoking on the corner wearing normal clothes I never feel they are that "needy". At least I've never seen anyone that bad off that still has money for smokes- but what do you know? That's just my personal rule of thumb.
On the other hand once when I was in a rush one night there was a junkie at the corner store I stopped at to use the phone at. He asked me for money and I figured I'd have a couple singles in my pocket- it was night, I felt a little bad for him and I also knew I didn't want to chance getting mugged or someting if I didn't give him anything. I gave him the cash I had in my pocket and then after handing it to him realized that it was $30. I felt bad after because I know he probably spent it on drugs. I just tell myself that he probably wasn't, so I don't feel like such a scumbag. -

Do you "shun" posters?
by changeling inyou don't need to name names (please don't), but do you delibertely not post on certain people's threads?
is it to make a point?
is it because you don't like what they stand for?

No. not on purpose anyway. I will however avoid topics that don't interest me but not posters. I usually never comment on the threads I read most because I don't have anything to contribute to them; but I enjoy reading other people's posts on those topics.

Misa,
I'm sure the guys appreciate you looking out for them but I don't need a sugar-daddy. But if I happen to come across one, who am I to judge.

the problem (?) is that you cannot browse the members on EHarmony...or maybe that's a good thing...... I am completely reliant on a lousy computer to dole out the matches....and the matches are being doled out slowly...half dozen at a time right now.... I think I should put up a different photo...
Oh, OK. I don't know why but that went completely over my head before, I thought you just didn't want to post it publicly.
I have no idea how those things work. Thanks for clarifying this for me -

it was crude, offensive, and vulgar..........i loved it.
Darn that's what I was going to say. I thought it was hilarious and one other person I know loved it, but everyone else I recommended it to hated it. Go figure.
