Anything Christmas...
(especially if it happens to have Santa Claus on it)
or
Anything from where you live
or
A coffee mug- especially if it's from your area
or anything really- I'm very easy to please. I liked the idea eclipse had- a burn CD of your favorite music would be very cool! -

"In The Air Tonight"I can feel it
Coming in the air tonight
Oh Lord
Ive been waiting for this moment
For all my life
Oh Lord
Well if you told me you were drowning
I would not lend a hand
Ive seen your face before my friend
But i dont know if you know who i am
Well i was there and i saw what you did
I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe of the grin
I know where youve been
Its all been a pack of lies
I can feel it
Coming in the air tonight
Oh Lord
Ive been waiting for this moment
For all my life
Oh Lord, Oh Lord
Well i remember
I remember dont worry
How could i ever forget
Its the first time
The last time
We ever met
But i know the reason why you keep me silenced up
No you dont fool me
Cause the hurt doesnt show
But the pain still grows
Its no stranger to you and me
I can feel it
Coming in the air tonight
Oh Lord
Ive been waiting for this moment
For all my life
Oh Lord, Oh Lord
That song always makes me want to watch Miami Vice (the original tv series). -

You launder a throw rug and somehow a papertowel got in the wash and now the washer is full of towel bits and the rug is covered in it too.... Yes just happened to me
That happens to me all the time with my normal wash- I always manage to have a Kleenex in one of the pockets I didn't check.
You just get back from the store and then you realize the other things you were out of.
You forgot to plug in your cell phone the night before and the battery's almost dead. -

Compound-Complex
Edited to correct address/inadvertently came up with "Fear of Public Speaking," of all things!
I always thought public speaking was one of the most common fears.
I don't have a fear of speaking publicly but it's not something I enjoy doing.Price of the VIP program varies according to the severity of the case. Typically it runs from $2497 and up. Scholarships are available to assist with fees in some cases, please call for details.
I didn't see any other price listings but for that price I'd hope it works. -

growing up native american
by BIG D infor those of you that dont know, iam half choctaw indian, my mom told me an sad, but interesting story the other day, she is jw, and my dad elder, she had her indian boarding school reunion, in oklahoma, and did not want to go, the first i have ever heard of her reunion, in all my life,.
she told me this story, similar stories i have heard from indian relatives, when she was a little girl, about 7 , she had 11 brothers and sisters, she lived on tribal lands in oklahoma, her great grandmother signed the 5 civilized scrolls act in 1907 that said indians would give up there ansterial lands and be relocated to indian territory, oklahoma.our tribe was from louisana.. her older family traveled from louisana, to oklahoma, in the dead of winter, on foot and hungry the whole way, over half the tribe died, sickness and malnourishment set in on the journey, and the military escort was berating them the whole way, the exodus, known to history books tday as the trail of tears.
the soldiers learned the words tish-pa, which means hurry up.. for some time after they made it to indian territory, they were given dispersments of money, they did not use money, and had no real use for it, it stopped shortly thereafter, the site named skully, to this day, which means money, a new word made up for it.. .

(and to think he performs in Yemen!!! what a giver! lmao)
Yeah not only is he a great artist but he's also so committed to his fans heheI think you have to be significantly better than mediocre, doing SOMETHING right, to land a contract with Atlantic Records at 18 years of age. Lots and lots of people are listening. Here in America, "New Shoes," the buoyant first single from "THESE STREETS," is currently blowing up at Triple A radio. The track - which was recently iTunes' "Single of the Week" - is now No 1 at the format, while also entering the top 40 at Hot AC outlets nationwide. What's more, VH1 has named Paolo its latest "You Oughta Know" artist, placing his "New Shoes" video in "You Oughta Know" rotation through the month of March. Previous VH1 YOK artists include KT Tunstall, Corrine Bailey Rae, the Fray, and Regina Spektor. Released January 30th, "THESE STREETS" is already shaping up as the first full-fledged critical smash of the New Year. Both People and USA Today awarded the album three-and-a-half stars, with the latter hailing "the breadth of talent (Nutini) shows... a series of thoughtful, evocative tunes that defy easy characterization." The New York Daily News noted that "voices like Nutini's come around just a few times in a generation." not exactly mediocrity.
Wow see, I love Paolo and I wasn't even aware of all of that.I only know him because he leases a bus from my husband for the N American shows. Where did you see him?
Club Congress- a very small night downtown club in Tucson, Arizona. Have you ever listened to any of his music? If not listen to the one FiFi40 posted, it's beautiful.
Sherry If you ever do get a chance to see him live- go. Not many people sound better live then recorded but he was just amazing. -

Recipe Question
by Sunspot inif i had any pride i would not even ask this question or show how stupid i am.....but here goes:.
i saw either on the martha stewart show or another i watched last week---where they took cookie dough and pushed it into and around a pie plate as a crust and baked it before putting the filling in.
i bought some pillsbury cookie dough, did what i had seen them do....and popped it into the oven for the amount of time it took for it to get browned.. the problem was----that the "giant cookie" rose up to look like an already full baked pie....and the center stayed moist and chewy---not like a "crust" at all.

I've never made one- (and didn't catch the Martha Stewart show you mentioned) but I watch the Food Network channel all the time and just recently discovered that almost every recipe from the different shows is posted on their site. You might want to look through it and see what other cookie crust recipe's they have or other Thanksgiving recipe's since you're having it at your place:
