Just read the saddest book
by changeling inthe road by cormac mccarthy.
it's the story of a man and his son after the world had been destroyed (they never say how or by whom).. good book but a real "downer".. changeling.

Yeah, they have great lyrics even with their main songwriter quitting the band before their last album was made. I love the latest album maybe even more than the last 4.

I thought for a minute there that you must be describing Evanescence,
I love them.Yeah I love Evanescence too, Amy Lee has an amazing voice. I understand some people don't get their music or the feeling behind it but you have to admit she can sing; if not I'd love to hear whoever says otherwise do one of their songs. Everyone's a critic.

I've been out over 5 years.
I actually lost another friend yesterday over this. I guess that's what usually happens when most of your JW friends are hardliners. I have one close friend in the org now, but i've never expressed any doubts to him.
(((((R.F.)))))- That's pretty normal- happens to a lot of us. I lost most of my witness friends long ago- never worry though there are more friends to be made in the "world"
You know, what's cool is I've since run into 2 of my best friends from grade school and we've restarted our once "forbidden friendship". They were some of the best friends I ever had. -

I'm a pretty good tipper. I was a waitress before so I know what it's like.
Same here unless I get really bad service then I only leave the minimum. But if I get a great server I tip very well- I remember what it was like waiting tables for hours, an aching back and feet and getting gypped in the tip department .
At most restaurants the servers don't make anywhere near minimum wage- the company expects them to make their cash mostly in tips- -

That was very thoughtful of you getting the snowfall on tape for those of us who practically never get to see snow.
