My friends Granddad's in his very late 80's, he and his wife (the third one- he's outlived them all so far) travel every year still on vacations out of state to visit family. They even went to Europe for a couple weeks awhile back (he loves beer so he was in Heaven the entire time!). The only time lately that I know of him being sick was when his doctor was inaccurately medicating him for the wrong ailment- once they got a second opinion and had him off the Rx's he was back to his usual self. This man doesn't look or act as advanced in years as he is- he even has every single one of his own teeth. I think he stays so youthful because he does so much all the time and takes really good care of himself.

Too true. It seems just about everything is made and imported from China- even from places like Linens-n-Things.

Why not? Especially if you don't want them to know exactly where you are. I sent mine with no return address (although I know they have it since my parents have tried to sic them on me in the past).

I liked the idea (if you are going to DA yourself) of sending it first to your friends and family members (I think that was Finally Free who mentioned that). I hadn't been in for quite awhile and I just wanted to do it so I sent mine to the last congregation I attended and also to The New York Branch- just in case. This is why I prefer foreign journalism to US media. Our newstories are so controlled and we are only shown probably 15% of what is actually going on across our country and 5% of the rest of the world.
Yes exactly, good thing for these other media outlets. Even local networks have filters of the things that happen within the city. -

Favorite Ice Cream

i recently have been able to eat dairy products after having my gall bladder removed.

I don't eat ice cream that often, but when I do, it's Baskin Robins Peanut Butter and Chocolate.
That used to be the only kind I'd ever get but I got burned out on that pretty quickly- it's so rich and I eat ice cream somewhat often
