i never had a strong urge to go, unlike others in the borg.
its funny to hear people marvel at the speed of the printing presses there.
It never appealed to me, taking a vacation where I had to wear my meeting clothes the entire time. My parents used to talk about taking a family trip there when I was a teen- so glad we never did, instead we usually went to California or the mountains where we were able to do fun things.
My sister went there after high school, loved it so much she moved to up there to be close to Bethel and pioneer.
because i was a born-in and raised in the wt, i was always told that we don't need holidays to tell us to give gifts to our children.

Yes. My dad was a good provider. We always had toys, new clothing, everything we needed physically.

i have spoken to her only two times since then, and have not seen her or my dad since then.
I know this must mean a lot to you. Even if it is them wanting to see you one last time this might bring you a sense of closure. I don't know, I never got to see my parents before they cut me off and sometimes I feel had I had the chance I wouldn't feel such a sense of sadness and frustration when I think of them sometimes.
Maybe you'll be able to get through to them, that would be wonderful. Either way I'm very happy for you to at least get to meet with them. I'd wish you good luck but I know you- you don't need luck ;-)
i'm always interested in seeing a good movie , anything out there that really rocked your world , please share.....
I don't know if anyone mentioned this one, but I really enjoyed a movie called "The Game" with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn. I bought the Dvd somewhere thought I had never heard of it before and watched it. I really enjoyed it. I know of several great movies but I'd need to know what kind of films interest you- I'm mostly into Sci-Fi and horror but I've seen lots of different movies.
