Anonymous, 152 UK police officers died in the line of duty in 2019? I never knew that. Compared to 158 in the USA?
Where did you get that information from as the link you supplied doesn't agree with that .
I thought it was 1 in the U.K.

''If you are elderly, stay home. If you are sick, stay home. If you have a preexisting condition that that would make you more susceptible to COVID-19, stay home.''
Would it have been better if that had been the worldwide message and policy all along from day 1?

Kids Without Rules
by minimus ini see a lot of kids that rarely get discipline.
they are allowed to do whatever they want and if someone says something to them they don’t want to hear, they blow them off, ignore them or engage in disrespectful talk.. what’s wrong with today’s parents??
they are producing a generation of entitled brats!.

Isn't it one of the signs of the last days? Children have always been so well behaved for the last 6,000 years.
Socrates (469–399 B.C.)
''The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers.''

Bill Gates Foundation
by jhine inhi everyone , how are ya'll ?
l have a question particularly for any americans on here .
l have an american friend from la who has recently been trying very hard to investigate bill gates and his foundation , she has shared quotes from a lot people making very serious accusations against bill .

Well I guess your friend must know. I'd also expect Mr Gates will be deleting your post too as he or one of his cronies will be down on you fairly soon, what with controlling the internet and all.
Don't forget to also share these 'quotes about Bill' and his foundation with others and then before you know it, it'll be true anyway.

Here in the UK most 'Chinese' restaurants are actually run by Hong Kongese.
A bit like most 'Indian' restaurants here are actually Bangladeshi.

Differences between UK and US Corona Virus TV Updates
by ThomasCovenant ini'm in the uk, and most days over the last 2 weeks i've watched the 5pm uk government update on the corona virus situation which includes questions from the media.
generally speaking i've found the whole update, including the questions and answers, to be respectful, informative and non combative, with, to the best of my recollection, very little mention of politics and blame.
certainly no political point scoring.

Generally speaking I've found the whole update, including the questions and answers, to be respectful, informative and non combative, with, to the best of my recollection, very little mention of politics and blame. Certainly no political point scoring.
After watching it I feel as if some progress is being made against a contagious virus that is harming our country.
Last night I watched, for the first time, the US equivalent. Apart from being told what an absolutely brilliant job the government is doing, the thing that I took away from it is that there are two political parties in the US that seem to be at loggerheads over the corona virus and there is a lot of blame to be apportioned.
After watching it, I feel that the virus is not as important as the politics and not as important as who is to blame for this that and the other.
Was this how all the US TV updates are or was this a one off?

Happy 20th Birthday to JWD / JWN
by Simon inas sgt pepper sang, "it was 20 years ago today" ... that i made my first post on my first forum.. i obviously didn't put too much thought into what it should say although i must have burned 45 posts testing things and was too lazy to reset the counter before going live (?):.
https://www.jehovahs-witness.com/topic/46/welcome.
but somehow, it worked and grew and here we all are, 20 years on.

Happy Birthday
and thanks for keeping the site going.
It was a great help for me just to be able to read something contrary to the official dogma, even if I didn't comment much or start many posts.
Even though we don't all agree on matters, both religious and more recently politically, I would hate to see the site cease. I think our little xjw world is better with the forum than without it.
Thanks
