  Time spent preaching current changing truths, studying current changing publications and 5 weekly meetings totaling up to at least 40 hrs per month......................Priceless

  .....actually the price of this to most jw's is very costly, not on monetarily, but emotionaly,physicaly & spiritually

  yesterday when i was working someone was watching some particularly un-jw approved movies on the big screen tv's i sell.

  i asked them if i could help them as i usually do with customers and he hooked me into a conversation.

  about 5 minutes later i heard the work 'jehovah' and freaked inside!

  I bolted the other lock when I looked through the peep hole at two darkly dressed elderly figures. Wonder if they knew to look for me? Were adult elderly males.

  ........maybe they were some of the elderly "lifers" booted from bethel......sent to help where the "need" is greater.....hunting down faders

  to iw, it's not "wrong or anybodies business" if he returns....of coarse.......but.....he has made it EVERYBODIES business by going online & writing a full page stating: "yes, i, myself, the great greg, author, stater of facts, debater, defender....am returning to the little bit of good that's in the organisation, overlooking the bad on MY terms....whenever i feel like going"

  now.....if he wasn't phishing for attention....why would he have to post this nonsense at all. why not just go back "quitely, modestly,repentfully & beg.....beg....plead to be accepted back into "mama's" semi good, semi bad little organization ?

  papajohn was just deleted for deceiving all of us and trash talking some kind people.. i don't know how someone can sign on as a newbie, have loving greetings come their way, ask questions and receive well thoughtout answers and then turn like a snake and say disgusting things to those that have wished them well.. i am glad that this mean-spirited person is gone.

  i have feelings of betrayal like i experienced w/god's so-called organization.. peace to all of you ones with honest intentions.

  sparkplug............i can't beleive someone besides my self knows about the apples from dixon. my best friend of all times lived in dixon...only feet from the river. when i first met his family at the kingdom hall, they had no indoor plumbing....out house...baths in the cold river, we used to take turns staying the weekends with each other....my folks home on the canyon in pajarito acres was quite a bit different. he was my mom's favorite "adopted" son & me his mom's, not to mention i was in "lust" with his sister.... god....what wonderful memories. sking is my favorite out door activity in the winter

  the hot springs in the jemez mountains used to be one my favorite spots up there. i drove my volkswagon of a cliff up there, it got hung up between 2 very tall trees about 15 feet above ground.......u think someone above caught me..................nah.....i wasn't even a very good jw then...partyin' & all.

  .......some of the best times of my life were in those mountains & surrounding areas. there was a little restaurant in the city of espanola, called the rio grand cafe....the best mexican breakfast i've ever had. that is where i got "addicted" to jalapenos, green chilis & real mexican food. taos....another great place....scenery...skiing...art...good eats. same for santa fe.....ruidosa, another fum place...just way too many places to mention. if i could make a descent living i would still be up there.....maybe when i'm " rich & famous".......

  .........ahhh.............northern new mexico........nothing beats it. i lived in los alamos thru high school, bandolier was stompin' grounds. the jemez mountains were weekend long parties......of coarse this was in the late 60's, so you know what i was doin'

  i miss the mountains,fresh air, pinon trees & nuts, fresh roasted green chilis,hot springs, taos,santa fe, chimayo.......good memories
