by jw ini rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.
a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.
late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.

Incoming Awake, Incoming Awake!!
by HadEnuf ini decided to treat myself to breakfast out at our favorite greasy spoon this morning.
i settled into my booth (when did they shrink the booths?
) and was enjoying that first sip of java when one of my favorite wait-persons walks up and throws an awake magazine right on top of my paper.

I am in Portland doing a job. It happens that this job is in the downtown area. I have seen several times, as early as 7:00am, cute little jw's handing out "old" WT's on the street corners. Being the "apoztate" that I am, I shun them, as if they had a STD. But, being a General Contractor & having to use Labor Ready for some of my needed unskilled grunt work, one of them obviously actually took one of these "old" WT's into the store I'm building & left it. Not seeing it for several days & not actually touching a Watchtower in over 15 years, I was almost afraid to pick it up, but I did pick it up & took it back to the hotel I'm staying at, thinking that I might get a good laugh at what they are spewing out in "these LAST days." Well, when I did get around to looking at the cover, I noticed it was from 2003, not hardly the "most recent newest light." So I used it to catch the coffe that spills from the coffe maker carafe that no matter how hard you try to pour from without spilling any, ALWAYS spills. So.......you see......the Watchtower's that are given away for free, often very outdated, CAN be put to good use!

I am in Portland,Oregon doing a job. I filled my 2006 Ford F-150 pickup last week...........$95.00, $2.69 @ gallon ! Upon arrival here 5 weeks ago, it was $2.39 @ gallon, $ 75.00 to fill up. It is now up to $2.79 @ gallon. It will cost me over $ 100.00 next time I fill up !
When I got my very first car many, many ,many years ago, $7.00 would fill the 22 gallon tank. Even then I thought that sure was a lot of money. It doesn't matter what we pay for fuel, it will ALWAYS seem to be too much!

................why all the uproar? the "society" has been doing this sort of sh*t for a long...long...long...long time.all of us who were ever a part.......... ( thru our own choice or by being " brought up in the TRUTH")....... of this "organization"..."society".... "cult"....... have to realize that they are going to "try to protect (CONTROL) the flock" from all the bad influences from Satan...the Apostates...THE TRUTH ABOUT THE TRUTH....anything against the WTB&TS ......all that is bad on the "super info hiway"....even though they strongly advise against reading anything on the internet, they constantly try to control what is available for the " true seekers of truth" to read. Note...they TRY! Obviously to little or no avail.

I was shunned today in the post office.
by outoftheorg inwell this poor jw walked to the table to sort out the throw aways just as i headed there also.. i saw him and smiled, then he dropped his head to not look at me.
we both sorted out the things for the trash bin and were only about 20 or so inches apart.. i remember him coming to my house when my daughters were young girls and he wanted to get aquainted.. maybe i should have spoken to him but i just looked at him and he refused to even look back.. how sad.
he always has this really sad disappointed look on his face.

when i had enough of this board and needed a little break i would just quietly leave for a few months and hopefully nobody noticed.
that is not the case this time.

Does the Watchtower Society Monitor this Board???
by integ inmaybe this has been addressed before, but after reading certain comments about people being "outed", i wonder if the wts really monitors this site?
if so, to what extent?
or is it just individual elders etc.?.

About me:A little bit info, im a typical girl working in a travel agency, working 8 hours day from Monday to Saturday. Im spiritual minded too I consume my free day( Sunday) going to field to preach goodnews to other people, as well as to attend meetings. Eventhough this hectic schedule i have, still have time to hang up with my friends( inside & out the congregation) to watch movie and to play badminton. Yes, i love sports, fashion & most speacially travelling. Who I'd like to meet: ...........................a little qoute from myspace blogger........"hang up with my friends".................i always thought they were kinda "batty"
