isaiah 10:1,2 (nwt) .
woe to those who are enacting harmful regulations and those who, constantly writing, have written out sheer trouble, 2 in order to push away the lowly ones from a legal case and to wrest away justice from the afflicted ones of my people
sounds prophetic to me!
Searcher,
The Society's own comments to those scriptures can be found in their publication, Isaiah's Prophecy light for all mankind.
On page 142 paragraph 18, It says Jehovah's Law forbids all forms of injustice: "You people must not do injustice in the judgement." The last sentence says, Through Isaiah, Jehovah now focuses his attention on these wicked judges. You see, they were talking about themselves and trying to apply it to Christendom.
They themselves are the wicked judges. How more wicked can they be? Forming judicial committees to Disfellowship people like Bill Bowen, Barbara and Joe Anderson, The Pandella's and Others. Calling abuse victims Liars.
i would like to share with the board an example of a way dubs are brainwashed into equating the internet with satan.
i heard this with my own ears!

I would like to share with the board an example of a way Dubs are brainwashed into equating the internet with Satan.
I heard this with my own ears! In fact I have it on tape.
A Circuit Overseer was giving the Sunday talk and he mentioned ways we are deceived by Satan.
I will not go into the details but he said, "It is in the bible that Satan uses many ways to deceive us'". He said, " We need to be aware of his ways of working on us. He said, "I would like to have you turn to 2 Corinthians chapter especially verse 11 it indicates that his ways that his ways of deceiving us are all indicated in the bible. He said, " Now I have to admit that as times change he has to alter the.way he uses those things, for example the crafts we have today, we have had warnings of the danger of the internet. He said, "That was not a danger back at the beginning of the 19th century and the 20th century we didn't have that system so he is tailoring these things but it is the same principle."
He went on talking and I was waiting for him to tell the audience what the dangers of the internet are but he never mentioned the internet again.
Talks like this are WTs way of embedding in people's minds that the internet is a place to stay away from . They don't have to come right out and say, "STAY off the internet" They put the idea there that it is bad and they don't even have to say why.
Folks, the WT is worried about the internet!!!
This subject has been discussed many times but that is just my 2 cents and marveling at the true masters of deception.

new hampshire public radio broadcast another scathing report on the witnesses' pedophile problem early this morning on a program called reporting religion.
i think the show is a bbc program, and may be somewhat connected to the panorama broadcast.
i would imagine the program was or will be aired on any number of npr stations across the country this weekend, so check it out.. .
Hi Seeker4,
Thanks for posting that information. I agree with everything that has been said about the internet.
I look at the dubs in my area and I know that most of them still don't know what is going on with the pedophile issue. They believe what they are told from the platform. (The apostates are working with the News media) That it is all lies. That is what the elders are telling them. A lot of them did not even watch Dateline and know nothing about the Panorama program.
It is unbelievable how little they know about what is going on. Most know absolutely nothing about the United Nations Scandal.
If it were not for the fact that I have a computer and have access to the internet and am not afraid to come to this site and sites like it, I would still be in the dark too.
hey all of you who have the new worship book....(my wife brought one back last week end) .
turn the very first page...(the one that has the title of the book on it) .
now on the back side of that page you will see a paragraph "to our readers" .
Hmmmmmmm
.
not at the platform.. i always looked around if there were any nice coloured sisters (and i was married and an elder)...
Fulano,
I just could not resist posting this joke in response to your comment about the colored sisters.
When I born, I black
When I grow up, I black
When I go in sun, I black
When I cold, I black
When I scared, I black
When I sick, I black
And when I die, I still black.
You white folks......
When you born, you pink
When you grow up, you white
When you go in sun, you red
When you cold, you blue
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you gray
So who you callin colored??
french philosopher blaise pascal once noted, "men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.
" a case study for this statement can clearly be evidenced by the governing body of jehovahs witnesses.. the gb present themselves as lovers of truth and righteousness who are the only persons on this planet who speak for god.
this doctrine is at the very core of the beliefs of jehovahs witnesses and is one of the few that cannot be rationalized away by wts apologists.
This is an important thread that needs to be read by as many people as possible.
Thank you, Hillary, for posting it.
oh joy of joys!
thank god this last weekend is over.
what a complete waste of a good weather weekend.

Questions From Readers
In what situations is it appropriate for a Christian woman to wear a head covering for spiritual reasons?
"Every woman that prays or prophesies with her head uncovered shames her head," wrote the apostle Paul. Why? Because of the divine principle of headship: "The head of a woman is the man." Praying or preaching in the Christian congregation is normally the responsibility of a man. Hence, when a Christian woman cares for matters pertaining to worship that ordinarily would be performed by her husband or by a baptized man, she should wear a head cover-
ing.-1 Corinthians 11:3-10.
Situations in which a Christian woman ought to wear a head covering may arise in her marriage relationship. For example, when the family comes together for a Bible study or for a meal, the husband normally takes the lead in teaching them and in representing them in prayer to God. If he is an unbeliever, however, this responsibility may fall on his wife. therefore, when praying aloud on behalf of herself and others or when conducting a Bible study with her children in the presence of her husband, a christian sister rightly wears a head covering. If her husband is not present, the wife need not wear a head covering since she is divinely authrized to do so.
Proverbs 1:8; 6:20.
What, though, if a young son in the family is a dedicated, baptized servant of Jehovah God? Since the son is a member of the Christian congregation, he should receive instruction from its male members. (1 Timothy 2:12) If his father is a believer, the son should be taught by him. However, if the father is absent, then the mother should wear a head covering if she conducts a Bible study with the young baptized son and the other children. Whether she calls on the baptized son to pray at such a study or at meal-time is left to her discretion. She may feel that he is not yet sufficiently capable and may choose to offer prayer herself. If she chooses to pray on such an occasion, she should wear a head covering.
While sharing in certain congregation activities, Christian women may need to wear a head covering. At a midweek meeting for field service, for example, there may only be Christian sisters present, no baptized males. There may be other occasions when no baptized males are
present at a congregation meeting. If a sister has to handle duties usually performed by a brother at a congregationally arranged meeting or meeting for field service, she should wear a head covering.
Must Christian women wear a head covering when giving oral or sign-language translation of Bible discourses or when publicly reading the paragraphs from a Bible study aid that is being used at a congregation meeting? No. Sisters handling these duties are not presiding or teaching. similiarly, no head covering is required for sisters taking part in demonstrations, relating experiences, or handling student talks in the Theocratic Ministry School.
While teaching within the congregation is to be done by baptized men, both men and women have the responsibility of preaching and teaching outside the congregation. (Matthew 24:14; 28:19, 20) So when a Christian woman is speaking to outsiders about God's Word in the
presence of a male Witness of Jehovah, she would not need to wear a head covering. However, the situation is different when a regular, scheduled Bible study is being conducted in a home and a dedicated, baptized male is present. This is a prearranged session of
teaching where the one conducting the study actually presides. Under these circumstances, a study becomes an extension of the congregation. If a baptized female Witness conducts such a study with a baptized male Witness present, she would rightly wear a head cover-
ing. However, the dedicated brother should offer prayer. A sister would not pray in the presence of a dedicated brother unless there were some exceptional reason, such as the brother's having lost the physical power of speech.
A Christian sister may on occasion be accompanied on a Bible study by an unbaptized male Kingdom publisher. If she wishes, she may ask him to conduct the study. But since he could not properly represent the baptized sister in prayer to Jehovah, it would be proper for her to
pray at the study. When conducting the study and when praying under these circumstances, the sister should cover her head. Even though the male publisher is not yet baptized, outsiders identify him with the congregation because of his preaching activity.
"The woman ought to have a sign of authority upon her head because of the angels," wrote the apostle Paul. Yes, Christian sisters have the privilege of being good examples to the millions of angels who loyally continue to subject themselves to Jehovah. How appropriate that godly women give due consideration to wearing a head covering when the occasion calls for it!

JT,
The QFR article you are referring to must be in the July 15th issue because it is not in the July 1st issue.
I looked through the July 1st issue and found this article that I thought was interesting considering that the boys in writing don't seem to understand that when they write something they are actually talking about themselves. (This can be found on the back cover of the July 1st WT.)
Avoid Being Deceived
Deception is almost as old as mankind. One of the first events in recorded history was an act of deception. That was when Satan deceived Eve in the garden of Eden. -Genesis 3:13; 1 Timothy 2:14.
Although there has never been a time since then when deception was not rampant in the earth, it is particularly prevalent today looking forward to modern times, the Bible warned: "Wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled."-2 Timothy 3:13.
People are deceived for all kinds of reasons. Tricksters and confidence men deceive victims to get their money. Some politicians deceive their constituents, determined to stay in power at any cost. People even deceive themselves. Rather than face unpleasant truths they convince themselves that there is no harm in pursuing dangerous practices, such as smoking, drug abuse, or sexual immorality.
Then there is deception in religious matters. The religious leaders of Jesus' day deceived the people. Of those deceivers, Jesus said, "Blind guides is what they are. If, then, a blind man guides a blind man into a pit, both will fall into a pit." (Matthew 15:14) Moreover, people deceive themselves in religious matters. Proverbs 14:12 states: "There exists a way that is upright before a man, but the ways of death are the end of it afterward."
As in Jesus' time, many today are deceived in religious matters and no wonder! The apostle Paul said that Satan "has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through."-2 Corinthians 4:4.
If a swindler deceives us, we lose money. If a politician deceives us, we may lose some of our freedom as a result. But if Satan deceives us so that we reject the truth about Jesus Christ, we lose out on everlasting life!
So avoid being deceived. Open your mind and heart to the one indisputable source of religious truth, the Bible. There is too much at stake to do otherwise. -John 17:3.
