I should be sleeping but my baby pulled a "baby night".
i just watched the local bbc news and there was a story about a woman who'd fed her baby while sitting on a public bench.
she finished and was on her way when a police car drew up beside her and asked her to stop.
there had been a complaint.
I nursed all three of my children. I like to be right in the middle of things and refuse to go sit in a corner to feed my baby. I have gotten quite good at nursing in public. No lie, I nursed my last son while bowling. Yes, while I was actually bowling. Throw a blanket over the shoulder and no one can see a thing.
I have never gotten a negative comment when I nursed in public, actually I got praised a few times for it.
"You're better than Viagra".
i'm rather conflicted on this.
what do you guys think?
does this qualify as psychological abuse?
As a mother of a teenager, I know how frustrating it can be to encourage your child to act appropriately. I am very active in my children's lives. I know all of their friends and I can't tell you how many parents just don't care. They just aren't present in their child's lives. I applaud this woman for taking the time to raise her daughter.
I agree with Mrs. Jones, most kids these days could use to learn a little humility. As far as what did this teach the girl, maybe it taught her that there are consequences to ill behavior.
By the way, isn't it the parent's responsibility to embarrass the sh*t out of their kids.
on my street, someone already started puting up their christmas decorations.
i find that a little early, but that's their business .
how about you, when do you start puting them up?
The day after Thanksgiving. We just continue the family togetherness theme from the day before and decorate the whole house. It is alot of fun with great memories.
some people love their jobs so much, that even if they won a couple of million $ playing lotto, they would still keep their jobs !!!
sounds stupid, right?
but i guess some have wonderful jobs, and money isn't everything.. how about you, what's the minimum you'd need to win to say, good bye boss ?
Enough to pay off the mortgage.
.
what a waste .

Searcher,
Please watch the documentary Farenheit 911, that will answer all your questions as to why I despise Bush. I hope this helps.

anyone familiar with it?
what do you think of it?
Darth,
I know exactly what you mean. That is why I liked this "course" schedule. I chose to start with the life/teachings of Jesus, which has you start reading in the book of Luke. It was kinda weird starting a book in the middle.

I started reading it last night. I like it. It has three different "courses". The first course is a choice of three. Reading of the life and teachings of either Jesus or Paul or the teachings of the Old testament. The second course is a reading from each of the 66 books of the bible. The third is reading of the entire bible, which they estimate to take 3 years. They did acknowledge that others have suggested it be done in one year but felt that was too stringent and could become discouraging.
All in all, I am pleased with my purchase.
