Some people love their jobs so much, that even if they won a couple of million $ playing lotto, they would still keep their jobs !!! Sounds stupid, right? But I guess some have wonderful jobs, and money isn't everything.

How about you, what's the minimum you'd need to win to say, good bye boss ?

....or would you keep your job anyways, even if you won enough money to live without working anymore?

If I won a million bucks, or even a good bit less, I would quit my job immediately. I could think of much more beneficial and independant ways of supporting myself had I a significant amount of investment capital.

Yeah, a million would see me bolting for the door.

Although, I may be tempted to invest or start my own business...

I would have to say at least a million for hubby to quiet his job...but the company would probably be in big trouble without him!

Although I am underpaid compared to what others are paid in my position at other places, I stay where I am since I hate to job hunt and I do have a good boss; but if I won or inherited one million I would put in my two weeks notice.

A lot. I don't know how much for sure. Part of me feels like I would still work anyway because it is a paycheck. But the other part of me feels like you only live once, so why waste time working when I can be there for my kids (when they aren't in school).

I've already got my dream job. It's also my hobby. Why would I quit my hobby?

If the money just happened to fall in my lap, I guess I would go on a real estate buying spree. If it was a lot of money, that pasture across the street from Patterson would make for a nice facility. What would go there? How about The Center for ExJW Education. Free tours. Everything the WT teaches in "current" form, you can take a class to find out the real reason for the change.

It would take a lot of money to leave what I do. I have several projects connected to my position. These investments will pay very nicely one day, so to be short sighted and leave now would cost way too much.

It wouldn't take all that much...probably just $500k or so. Not much incentive to stay here doing what I'm doing anyway. Doesn't pay well and literally leeches the creativity out of you. I'd take the money and go back to school for medicine like I always wanted to do but was not allowed (cause I was a good dubber at the time). So pretty much just enough for me to live while I go to school would make me happy.

Of course...I do suppose that I'd have to play in order to have the chance to win, right?
