  Do you condemn the Society's no-blood policy and still do not DONATE BLOOD?

  it's your decision to make.

  it would be as wrong of this community to insist everyone donate blood as it is of the cult to insist otherwise.

  I'd love to donate blood but I can't because of health issues. I'm not afraid of needles and it seems to me to be a very easy way to possibly help save someone's life.

  Jehovah's Witnesses are NOT saving money on gas by staying home from the stupid assemblies that are held hours away from home.

  Of course, they don't have to worry about the environment either, since Armageddon is just around the corner....

  the local newspaper prints DUI Police Reports on a daily basis.

  They do that here, too. We had at least one elder lose his elder-ship because of that.

  i have had relatively high success in getting the local rag to run my letters in the opinion page.

  i hope this one is printed.. .

  to the editor; on october 25 the british press was awash with the story of young emma gough from tellford, uk.

  Excellent letter!

  The newspaper may be the only place some JWs ever hear anything negative about their religion. The younger generation is probably not aware of the flip-flops on organ donation, vaccines, etc. You never know what might start someone thinking! I hope this gets published.

  Stockpiling Food Where Does One Start?

  The first thing that came to mind in answer to the question of what food to stockpile was CHOCOLATE!

  Seriously, though, water is the most important and is often overlooked. As far as food goes, tuna, canned soups and veggies, and even those protein shakes or protein bars, which are easy to store and usually vitamin-enriched.

  What are we storing up for? Armageddon? I hear it's just around the corner!
