  i would tend to agree.......not just a pedophile paridise though,.

  a paridise for corruption.. because jw judicial committe meetings aren't always about justice..........they are more about "who the accusation is against".. i know first hand,......you can't go around accusing elders of wrong doing........you loose, and then are labled a slanderer.....and then they spread rumors about you......or give you a public repoof ...till you get tired of being there, and you leave.

  You are right, it is a paradise for other corruptions too.

  Some do not like the phrase "Pediphile Paradise" but it is just that. Under current JW policy there is no better place for a child molester to be.Sadly, many of them know it too.

  hh: yeah, i saw "dateline" the other night on how 'hovahs protect sexual deviants.. 'hovah: well, you can't believe....... hh: no, no, i did some research after watching the show, now the wts is synonymous with corruption, deceit, slander, death, suffering, and the like.. 'hovah: well i uh, don't know about, uh, any problems, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh!.

  JW's are always wanting to show their propaganda videos to return visits,bible studies, relatives and any one else they can turn into a captive audience so I think I will always have my copy of Dateline on the ready for any Jw's who decide to show up at my home.

  My rule will be that we will have no discussion until they have watched Dateline with me.I doubt if they will take me up on it. But I will be ready for them anyway.

  I know the Jw's are not staying quiet about this show that they view as an attack and are surly drowning Dateline in emails so we need to give our input to balance it all out.

  I was reading the silentlambs guest book this morning and the JWs are angry and hateful.It would be interesting to see some of the emails they get from JWs.

  They don't realize it but their heartless reaction to these victims and the wistleblowers speaks volumes about who they really are.

  Why Did Dateline Delay Airing?

  why did dateline delay airing?.

  to give the wt six months to show proof that they are tough on molesters.

  yet, after six months, they came up with only two cases.

  Mixed thoughts re: Silentlambs group

  a person has to be a bit nieve to think that if the wt suddenly gave into all of the demands of silentlambs that silentlambs would somehow cease to exist and or let up their pressure on the society.. i think there is a broader agenda here, one that includes a measure of revenge against the wt and one that won't stop until they are out of business.

  no child is truely protected or safe when they are raised in a cult.

  a logical extention of silentlambs would be expanding their agenda to include the blood issue and children.. it is this obvious broader agenda the silentlambs group has that invites criticism from active witnesses.

  Why don't we all just leave this thread to die and enjoy the day and look foward to Dateline.
  We accompolish nothing by hurling accusations and inuindo.

  Get Dubs to watch Dateline with Reverse Psychology

  i think the best way to get the dubs to watch dateline is to tell them not to :) dont people just love to do things they are told not to...i know i do :).

  the following is a sample conversation that i might have with my mom.. "hello...mom?

  hi...this is your son...you too (k)...hey i just wanted to let you know that dateline is airing a piece on jehovah's witnesses tonight...yeah i'm sure you dont want to watch it...you really need to listen to the organization because they know what is best for you...uh huh...no...no i probably shouldnt tell you what it is about...nahh, i dont want it to hurt your faith mom...yeah...uh huh...say, is it time for the nurse to bring your meds yet?....how is the food?...ok, i understand...yes mom...group therapy is important...just listen to them ok?...love you ...bye.. lizard

  I called my parents and got their answering machine.
  I said "Hi mom and dad,this is ......,you may already know this but Dateline will be showing Tuesday night at 7:00" All the sudden I hear my moms voice loudly and hatefully say "WE ARE NOT INTERESTED,THANK YOU"

  I just hung up because she was out of control, as usual.
  She sounded like a mean householder out in service.

  Path,

  I just have a few things to say about what you have said here.
  The first being that I am glad you used the word "we" when you wrote these words.
  At least you included yourself in what you are saying.Otherwise I would want to jump through my computer and ring your neck!

  You must understand that the circumstances made it impossible for Silentlambs and group to be free of these types of accusations.

  If you really think about it, the only way that Silentlambs and the rest of the group could possibly be completly free of such accusations of having a mixed aganda is if they had never been JWs or connected to them in any way.

  But then you would run into another problem,
  No one that's not emotionally connected and understands what's really going on here with this issue would have ever lifted a little finger to help these victims!

  We are doing the best we can do under the circumstances and we have to continue doing what we know is right no matter what people accuse us of.There was no way to have a completly unbiased group doing this work.

  And one more thing that I want you to remember is that it is wrong of you or anyone else to judge an entire group's motives as being the same. We are individuls each with our personal feelings and agendas.You can't read minds.

  I know there are some who are angry and may fantasize about the downfall of the WT but if you took the time to find out why you would realize their feelings are legitimate.

  You seem to want to ignore the pain and suffering many have been through and expect perfection and want to act like they are wrong for feeling the way they do.They have a right to their personal feelings.

  Some would be appeased at a change in WT policy and I am sure others decide to take it farther.Silentlambs has no control over this.
  SO what?It does not change the cold hard facts in this issue.

  One more thing.Silentlambs is a supportgroup for victims.Even if WT changes it's policy the need for this group is still there.The victims don't dissapear if policy changes.These people still need help.
  I think you need to try to understand what silentlambs is all about.It's not just about changing Wt policy.
