I think I'm going to invent an official WTS literature incinerator, it will be metal, about 4 ft. tall (you need alot of available space, cause there's so much damn literature to burn) it would have a lid that would be easy to open, so you can easily dump in, the occasional tracts and magazines that you find folded up here and there under couches and so forth, there would be a compartment for wood on the bottom, as it is ecologically freindly, and then you light that baby up preferably in winter and gather around it with some hot chocolate and put that literature to some good use!
Heck, you could have a "literature burn in" that would be when you get some of the freinds that have also opened their eyes about the Borg and they can bring their
"Literature""Trash" and you all can gather around the fire and exchange stories about how many people you have helped out of the Borg, and other entertaining stuff. WHO KNOWS, I JUST MIGHT DO IT!IC

The meeting was interesting thanks for inviting me, there's just one thing before I join, can you come to my house and review with me the JW history and all the beliefs you guys have held? There's this great website called "quotes" that has quotes from JW literature, there's no derrogatory comments against your religion just actual facts, once we review everything on there, and you answer all my questions I will be glad to continue on with the study.

Nothing, since I don't believe in him as Creator, he was just some storm mountain god, that had a consort, but to the CREATOR I would say, I look forward to finally meeting you, thank you for having created such a beautiful planet and for all the wonderful things in it and for the life I was able to live here, now I want to see the rest!

it's an up and coming area in which the society pulled building permits for 4 twenty story residence buildings with a connecting atrium and underground parking.
the permits were pulled last year about this time (much to the annoyance of the locals) and when inquiries were made of local bethelites the word on the street became "the governing body hasn't decided whether or not to go through with the project.

Hey FeelinSketchy I'm originally from NY too, Welcome to the DB, nice to have you here, interesting information, I had heard about the DUMBO project before, and also wondered where they were getting the money to build that, since they are sooooo financially strapped right now that the R & F have to pay for the CO's insurance and all .
I hope more R & F find out about this and stop donating their money to this Borg!
Maybe the WTS lawyers have figured the CRAP out and are blackmailing them, and those apartment buildings really belong to the lawyers.......I know, I know....... but who doesn't love a good conspiracy theory?..... Besides I can dream can't I?

many of you may not see immediately how important this matter is.
beyond the other legal ramifications, i.e, the wts lying about secular info., intentional deception, etc., the blood issue is a huge one.

I personally know a few dear freinds who died because of the WTS Blood BS, the first one was in the late 70's he was about 12 years old, he got Leukemia and died from not getting a transfusion his family and the congregation was very proud that he died faithful, it was very sad. The second was a freind who was in my KH he was around 19 he also got Leukemia and also died because of refusing a blood transfusion, it was very sad to see this very gentle and kind person waste away and die in the prime of his life, all because of some dumb religion.
Then there's my freinds mom who died recently also from Leukemia, she also refused blood and died, at least she got to live, have kids and see them grow up, the others were not so fortunate.
I think we should start a thread and post how many of us know people that died because of this erroneous teaching, it would be interesting to see the numbers at the end.
About this Eduardo Esq. character, I don't know, I too have always wondered about him, he sounds like he could be on the WTS payroll . He said that if the blood policy was changed he would probably go back, after all the WTS dirty laundry that's been aired out here I don't see how he could say that, something just doesn't seem right about him. Sorry Eduardo, I hope I'm wrong about you.

Defd, why do witnesses practice infant baptism?
by in a new york bethel minute ininstead of highjacking an earlier thread on young ones getting baptized, i thought i'd just start a new one and ask our favourite dub lurker why his faith practices infant baptism.
and defd, if you feel that a 7 or 8 or even 12 year old isn't an infant with regards to making major decisions, i would like to hear your explanation.

I think that the WTS continually tells the parents that they should be instructing their children in the
"Truth""Crap" so they will become baptised members ASAP, most of the parents think, that if their children get baptized early this will serve as a protection for them when they reach their teenage years, since they will have already made this vow withJehovahthe WTS.The reality of course is that these parents are really setting their children up for massive stress and trauma when their hormones kick in, indulge in sexual behavior, and are ultimately faced with losing all their freinds and family when they are df'd. I am so glad that I found out the Truth about the "Truth" now, before my two kids got baptized. I remember in 2004 we were talking to them about becoming approved publishers so that they could get ready to get baptized, I'm so glad this never happened.
My kids are free and very happy now, we all believe in a creator, but no longer believe in the BS that is organized religion, they no longer worry about Persecution (the little one nightmares about this, he worried that they would take us away from him), Tribulation, or the damned Armaggedon, yes life is truly wonderful now that we are beyond all this WTS CRAP!
I feel sorry for the kids in my KH many of them have gotten baptized and are younger than 14, it's sad, really SAD!
