  i find it very interesting the way the wts has conditioned jws to automatically accept as true any information about jws that is considered "positive" regarding the religion while also automatically concluding as false any information about jws that is considered "negative".. i wonder if we could use this to our advantage... tell jws all sorts of outlandish, but positive, things about the organization and what jws are doing.

  eventually they will get to a point where they realize that they cannot even trust the "good" things they hear.

  hey, did you hear about how the wts recently purchased a c-130 so they can do literature airdrops in remote locations in third-world countries?

  I have seen cases where a JW will try to convince someone that their religious position is wrong because of the bad reputation of a religious leader that they may be affiliated with. If the person doubts the information, the JW will walk away from the conversation saying that this person did not want to see the truth about their religious leaders. How irionic.

  YEP your right. I was sitting in a car, while the most Holiest of Dubs were driving, the driver passed by a church, which he instantly called it Babylon, then tells me how the Chuch leader was a convicted sex offender, and people still went to that church after knowing. The message to me was, if a preacher in your church is a sex offender, you should not go anymore because its babylon the great. Jehovah would never allow a sex offender to preach to his congregation.. Mhmmm

  wooh! This was almost incredibly boring except for the handwriting on the wall. Some one commented on how scary Harry Potter is dealing with how Belshazzar's religion had spiritism in the books.

  There wasn't really any exciting or wierd comments this time.

  Only this quote was interesting

  Latest news about Pro-JW group on Myspace

  the elders and the governing body are cracking down on jw myspace groups.

  here is the latest from the owner of one that i'm subbed to.. im sorry to all who just recently joined myspace but im deleting my account and if ne one wants to keep the group goin thats up to them... i dont know whats goin to happen if i delete my mysapce i dont know if the group will automatically get deleted.... .

  now for the reason im leaving is that my elders are saying that the po's met last week and the major issue with society now is the internet and myspace came up as one of the topics and for the elders to talk about this with the young adults and kids in the hall... the pretty much told us if u dont take urself off we will have to have a meeting with u about it... this is advice from not us the elders but from the governing body... sooo im not one to go agaisnt my elders even though i dont want to leave becasue i met some wonderful people and im soo greatful for that... if ne one wants to keep in touch with me here is my phone number... .

  Aw this is sad, it makes me want to go make another myspace now in defense.

  This issue hasn't been brought up in our hall as of yet, there aren't much young people who like computers here. I think about 4 probably use it as much as i do. But i love myspace, i can pick out the boring guys from the cool ones.

  And i was looking through some of the Jw teens and I was wondering how they allowed their friends to curse in their comment boxes and have pictures of women wearing nearly nothing at all.

  i know an elder (hermann) who is so fat and out of shape that his wife has to mow the lawn and shovel the entrance.

  she also works hard inside to make his food and keep everything clean.

  he is 73 and she is 70.. i wonder what verse he uses to make her do so much?

  my preferred social construct would be a group of 5 to 10 men sharing space, chores, well everything.. if i were heterosexual i think i would prefer the same situation, 2 or 3 families living together and sharing all.. actually i believe this should be a worldwide goal, total community in every sense of the word.. i see no advantage served by social and sexual diads.. please explain it to me.

  Like an extended family, I wanted to try, but you know the biggest pitfall is money and who's contributing. Contribute enough money and you don't have to do chores but others think your being unfair. Contribute too little money and your 12 hours of chores will be seen as nothing because you don't actually have a good job.

  i found it nice to watch because its not like a dog eat dog-fest like trump's show.

  plus in an unrelated story lol, a women's concept, its main purpose is to be reliable and practical, instead of men's cars which are i guess fast and sporty.

  Disfellowshipped for being fat and not watching my cholesterol

  i find the concept of taking select warnings of the medical and science world, to disfellowship members, and ignoring others ... all the more interesting as i think about it.

  after all, heart desease is the biggest killer in the americas.

  heart desease and heart related deaths are often linked to and not exclusive to; obesity, high cholesterol, fatty foods, not exercising, high stress, etc.. with this in mind, i dare someone to call an elder and report that they saw one of the local witnesses eating at mcdonalds, even though the doctor warned them it could kill them.

  I was thinking about this too, because even though i hate smoking, i was wondering how could they make such a rule, without applying it in other areas.

  Chips = too fatty
  Soda = leads to obesity
  
  Lol if soda would get me Disfellowshipped i'd probably just would decide to leave on the spot.

  So Smoking should still be a concious issue.

  KH meeting - boring!

  i'm not a jw but a friend of mine who is a jw invited me to the memorial service at the kh this year.

  i was raised catholic but now i'm agnostic/atheist.

  one thing that struck me was how horribly sterile and boring the memorial service was.

  Oh they are soo soo boring. I for some reason can't sit through lectures, whether it be school, or meetings. I fall asleep at some point, and snore myself awake, but the snores aren't very loud, just loud enough internally to wake myself up. One time i sat up front, I usually hate sitting up front cause you have to keep awake because everyone sees you nodding off. This lady, just fell asleep and made the loudest snore, and it was going on for about 1-2 minutes until she woke up. I have fallen asleep on the one on one bible studies. I remember i fell asleep while they asked me a question, and i woke up a second later and totally forgot what they asked me. Some kids in the back sleep too and i always envy how they can sleep through the whole thing and their parents won't wake them up. The service meetings and public talks are probably the most boring.
