UPDATE ON DANSK
by Physio init's been a long time since i posted here but i often read your messages when ian (dansk) logs on.
as most of you will know, ian will be going back into hospital on monday for an allogeneic stem cell transplant and will be away from the forum for a good few weeks (hopefully he'll be back home within 4-6 weeks).
last time he was in hospital many of you sent messages to his ward and i know they cheered him up immensely.

Please say hello to my wife.
by nicolaou ini've been posting here for quite a long time, so long in fact that it just doesn't feel right that my wife isn't a part of it.
earlier today i created an account for her with the username heron, she'll know why.
i'm not sure if my wife will ever post here but i would feel much more comfortable knowing she is aware that i do.. this is the one post i am going to ask her to read.. so, i'd really appreciate it if you could say hello to my lovely wife.

HAVE JWS RUINED YOUR LIFE??????
by chuckyy inim sitting here today thinking:.
"my daughter should have had open heart surgery years ago and she would have been too young to know anything about it.
instead, she is about to face it now....the surgeons were relectant to do it when we were jws and she was so young.

As Gill said, surgical techniques and medical knowledge improve all the time. I pray that your daughter's operation is a complete success. You are in a grieving process so vent away if it helps! The Open University runs some good courses as do most Adult Community Colleges. Joining a course will mean that you will meet new people and widen your circle of acquaintances, maybe finding possible work as a result. Those shunning you all are following the rules set by the organisation - you are no longer bound by those rules. If you and your wife can, try to feel pity for those who are and relief that you are no longer controlled as they are. Try to be positive and set yourselves small goals for each day which will enable you both to move on and to fill your lives gradually with others who are upbuilding. You may want to add your daughter to the weekly VIGIL thread prior to her operation so that she will be remembered.

MY SON WAS ATTACKED!
by Dansk inyesterday afternoon my older son, karl, who is studying musical production at brighton university, came round to see his family.
he had just been to see his pregnant girlfriend, who is staying with her mum and dad for a week.. karl is a wonderful boy; the type of son any parent would be proud of.
he is loving, considerate, respectful and has never once caused any trouble or been in any.

MY SON'S LEAVING HOME!!!!!!!!
by Dansk inmy older son, karl, is leaving home.
it could be this coming sunday but, if not, definitely sometime during next week.. karl has been a wonderful son and friend.
leaving watchtower was made so much easier because of him - and his decision to exit undoubtedly prompted my wife, claire, to take a look at the damning evidence herself!
