Blueblades
by Mall Cop inhello everyone, mall cop is actually blueblades.
i have had trouble registering with my original handle and so today i was able to register under a new handle.

Yes I did. I had 2 of them. My friends are now EX JW's just like I am. I have both of them still in my life. I was very lucky.
One of my friends got married at 21 and we lost contact for 12 years. She was my best friend as a teen. Then last summer I found her on myspace and contacted her. We have rekindled our friendship. She is now divorced and is getting married on my 35th birthday in September. My friend Lori and I used to talk about everything.
My other friend Becca has been my friend for years and years. She lives in Kentucky and we don't get to see eachother much anymore but we talk all the time.
I love them both.

therapist says affairs can help some/my marriage....really...
by oompa inwell that took me back a bit...but since i have led a double life since third grade...i have become the master of compartmentalizing...and since my exit and since it is now not just to my parents (as a youth)...but now having to do it to my hardcore jw wife....well...it just gets frikkin easier and easier...i now think i am becoming capable of stuff i would have never dreamed of...this is scary.... i have decided i can afford it financially though i dread this at 47, since this is the second time i would lose half my assets....crap...and my wife is a wonderful lady!...hot even!...but i so want to grow and be totally free...damm the costs are so high...why cant i be content with a non-nagging jw wife?????.
oh...and basically it seems that if certain needs (not just sex!
) need to be met...and your mate will never know...than it can help your marriage continue with no bad side effects???

The harm is the lie and the violation of trust. Even if you were the only one to know how can you live with yourself?? You would be a liar and deceitful and not a good person. That is not the way to start a new life. You want to be able to respect yourself. How can you do that if your a liar and a sneak and a cheater??
It does hurt grown children. We care about what happens to those we love. I'm sure your son loves his step mother. You would hurt both of them and hurt your relationship with your son.

My dad cheated on my mom many times. It hurt her more than anything else ever could. If you don't want to be with your wife anymore just get a divorce. Don't hurt her like that and then hide it. Your therapist is wrong. It doesn't help marriages. It hurts everyone involved including children. Even grown children. If you want your kids to respect you don't do it. I know seeing my mom in that kind of pain made me hate my dad for being a complete jerk. I don't respect him or trust him at all. Be a man and get a divorce and then start the life you want.

Who was the first person to become a Jehovah's Witness in your family?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy mom,dad,uncles,aunts,and grandparents were all raised catholic.
they were all baptised and married in the catholic church.. one day in the early 1960's,a witness preached to my uncle.
he started a bible study and later had his immediate family join in.

As far as I know my great grandparents joined in the 20's. It could have been before that for all we know. I do know my grandfather who died last year was born in. The story goes he was taken to his first meeting at 6 day's old. I was 4th generation. There is now a 5th generation in my family to have been born in.

If you know about computers put your hand up
by LouBelle incos i need some help as i don't trust my it guy at all.. my email totally crashed on me today - i noticed the pee cee getting slower and slower and then it switched itself and restarted.
i rebooted after that again...just in case.
when i went into my mail everything that was in my inbox and subsequent folders opened under that had disappeared along with everything in my sent items.

I don't know how to use outlook express. I tried to use it on my other computer but I messed it up so I can't use it at all. I use Yahoo and Hotmail for email. I just bought a brand new laptop last week. I don't know how to set up outlook express so I don't plan on using it anyway.

First Birthday
by purplesofa inafter taking tons of pics and then realizing i did not have memory card in the camera, i did not get many pics.
jada had a blast, had tons of kids there and i took a nerve pill that proved to be a bit too strong, (probably why i took all those pics with no memory card!!!).
the day brought back lots of memories of when my kids were little and we celebrated birthdays, before i became a jw, my oldest was 7 and my youngest was not born when i got baptised.. it's great fun and if you have reservations about celebrating i understand.
