i just returned home from the kingdom hall.
i am an elder.. after the meeting all the elders were called to the back room.
i thought this was an impromptu elders' meeting.
Have to ask this, are there any other young children at the Hall or are your's the only ones there around that age ?
I have been in some Halls where it seems that everyone's forgotten HOW young children act. Personally I have no problem with fidgety children nor with children that make a little noise. They ARE children after all !

At what point does blood cease being blood ?
For example, I go into a McDonald's and order a Bic Mac. I tell them to leave the 'special sauce' and lettuce out of it. Is it still a Big Mac ?
"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickels, onions on a sesame seed bun."
Since WATER makes up the majority of blood's volume, is it still blood if you remove the water ? As it's further fractioned at what point does it cease to be blood ?
I do feel bad that this young girl died but that was the result of a car accident, not the refusal of a blood transfusion. There is no proof that receiving blood would have changed anything. It's one of those things, "time and unforseen occurrance" as the Bible brings out.

so thats what it feels like.. i am not df'ed or da'ed, ... i have just stopped going to meetings.
my wife is trying to be as active as she can.. so all morning i am out of my regular routine.
late getting out of bed and late about everything today.. so i leave the house, and before getting to the office, i decide to stop at the mall for a quick, maybe 15 min, walk.. as soon as i get inside, taking my coat off, here is the elder who did everything he could in his power to get me out...and lied...and added to gossip that ran me outta there.. he and his wife spot me .. and turn there heads away and continue on their walk, .. eyes fixed on some thing away from me.. so thats what it feels like.........now i know.

Yes I did. I met the young woman that would later become my wife and the mother of our children.
i was reading a thread here the other and it mentioned that the assembly for 2006 will be "delivance at hand".
is this going to be like 1974 when every jw's thought the end was going to come in 1975?
i don't think jw's leaders would be that stupid again and build jw's for another date-setting letdown.

That's NOT what I observed locally.
i've completely stopped taking part in any jw activities for close to a year now and will be visiting my jw family for the next couple of weeks.
they have no idea that i have become "apostate".
for all they know i am still an active jw.
Forgive me but if you are convinced that you are right what have you got to hide ? Why try to fake something that you are not ? Isn't that being dishonest ?
