  Just heard from a friend....

  i knew this was going to happen sooner or later.. while the local congregation has shown no interest in why i haven't been to meetings in over a year , i do have friends from afar (witnesses) who i feel do care about me and my family.

  i heard from one of them today who tells me she has, what the doctors say is, a very serious case of breast cancer.

  anyways - besides telling me all about that she had heard that i was highly inactive and wants me to start getting back on track because she wants to see me in the paradise.

  Hubby passed away this morning...

  i want to thank all those that helped and encouraged me in my hard times!..hubby passed away from his cancer this morning.

  i am so sad my heart is broken.

  we decided to go ahead and have a memorial for him this weekend at the kingdom hall he went to.

  Do You Feel Better Since You Stopped Meetings?

  so many witnesses have been ill. i'm not talking about the flu or a cold, either.

  many witnesses suffered from ailments that were not necessarily common to most people.

  i know of jw's that had to literally run out of the meetings every week because they said they were allergic to perfumes and different scents.

  Almost said a prayer

  today i called a meeting to review an accounting system i am writing for a company once everyone arrived i went to start the meeting... but the moment i started to speak, i almost opened in prayer.

  i literally had to stop and hold my tongue for a moment to keep from saying: "father jehovah....".

  afterward i noticed that i had even bowed my head.

  Do YOU answer the door now?

  when i left the org the elders would come by at the most inopportune time at least every day sometimes twice.

  i never answered the door, i just continued doing whatever it was i was doing and ignored the pounding at the door knowing it ticked them off because they knew i was home.

  when the witnesses randomly come to my door now i still don't answer but have thought about it just to give them hell.

  To sin against the Holy Spirit

  matthew 12:31-32 says, "every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the spirit will not be forgiven.

  anyone who speaks a word against the son of man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the holy spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

  do you feel as if you are sinning agaist the holy spirit in any way in your life?

  i agree with nelly......i do not know what would constitute the sin against the holy spirit,,,,but if the witnesses are right,,,,i chose death....i simply broke mentally and just could not go on anymore...i hope god understands....i don't hate him....

  SNEAKY SCUMBAGS!

  my roommate, (an ex jw but not a dffd one ) was approached by an elder in another hall today.

  he recently had a fight with me and called me an apposer.

  this dirtbag asked her anout me, and told her that "whatever bad thing she has done , it wasnt too late to come to the elders and get forgiveness!.

  Remembering an Old Friend

  as most all of you know, i am a vietnam veteran, serving with c troop 7/17th air cavalry from july of 1969 to january 1, 1971. i have heard before that the bond formed by combat veterans is forever.

  i can now say that is a true statement.

  when first assigned to c troop, i met a man by the name of ron strickland and we hit it off as buddies, becoming best friends, in my estimation.
