The most common "thing" I usually see in public restrooms are Jehovah's Shitlesses with bachelors and masters degrees on their hands and knees cleaning all the "worldly" s$#t from the walls and stalls that you all just mentioned. No wonder we men(and some women!) like to piss on the toilet seat!..So much for that colij ejacashion, lol

in my case, it was always the length of the meetings that bothered me.. no matter what meeting it is, you have to get there prepared, and that means lots of time reading the darn literature.. another thing that would irritate me, is all the magazines that come in faster than i can read.. i'll let you guys add to this list.. .

Watching a part on the service meeting where the "very spritual" elder father and his family get up on the podium with all the big fake smiles and give a part on how happy he and his family are serving Jehovah, going out in service everyday. With half the congo knowing that this particular elder was a tyrant at home, abusing his wife and 2 kids mentally as well as physically and sexually. And no one ever said a word. I wish I had a voice back then. Please forgive me.

UPDATE 2: Since Freedom is Free, Why is it Taxed?

mom said be home by 5, but there was a huge accident a mile from where i live, and i sat on the road for like 10 - 12 minutes, and was 5 minutes late getting home.
mom was there (didn't go to work- guess why) and she was pissed.

YO! I sympathize with your situation Richie, but...I hear all this talk about sending you $$$$$$ to help you out. In all of the threads that you have posted you come off as an intelligent kid and I'm sure you have heard of direct deposit, this will keep your mothers hands off your earned money. You also mentioned that you're "management" and you at least earn double the minimum wage. Seems to me that if you kept your money safe, you have the resources to leave if and when you wanted. Now, if our fellow good people on the board really wanted to help someone, all they have to do is contribute either time or $$$$ to some of the deprived persons in their own communities, whether it be a homeless person on the street, or even contribute to a battered child or womens shelter. This in itself would be a real act of love, something JW's don't teach. Now how bout it Richie, wouldn't you rather we take that 20 or so dollars and "donate" it to a great cause as mentioned above?.....and by the way donations to respected charities can be tax free(USA) if you claim it.

by cheen ini know a couple of jw's who are also ip's (internet providers), these so called men of high faith allow the worst form of content, including bestiality, and who knows what else to come thru their servers.
wouldn't this be a conflict with their faith and their stance on being "no part of the world", or just another "consience" decision they have to make?
and if it is a "concience" decision, shouldn't all jw's be allowed to make these decisions for themselves such as the blood issue or military service without retaliation from the boe or their fellow r&f jw's?

I'm meeting with the elders today, oh yay!!!!!!!!!!!

i had decided to come clean and just tell them that i don't believe in this anymore.
however tonight i talked to one of my friends who is still a witness and i realized that there are a lot of people who would be very hurt if i got dfed, so i have made the choice to go into that meeting today and lie my ass off.

Reality, you'll see it more clear once your out of the corporation.

Very rich JW in the KH that I used to go to,him and wifey always drive up in a new year model Suburban, his son always pulls up in a Hummer, his daughter drives an Escalade with yes, you guessed it! 26 inch shoes, chromed to the max! They never come together,each in their own little parade. Snobbiest bunch you'd ever meet, right down to the gold lined pages of their bibles.

Were you ever scared of going to prison as a JW?...
by Hecklerboy ini remember growing up a jw and always being told that someday the goverment would turn on us and throw us in prison.. i was watching a documentary on national geographic about san quinton prison and it brought back old memories of those fears.. i remember thinking how scared i would be if i had to go to prison and what i could do to protect myself.
i would think of how i could just stay in my cell all the time so no one could hurt me.
especially after seeing stories on the news about riots and rapes and people getting stabbed.. leave it to the jw's to make a kid worry about going to prison.

i knew a brother who had a nick name, and when he became a witness, he didn't want to be called by his nickname anymore....he was brother x from now on.
or just use his real name.. imagine going to your hall, and calling someone by his nickname instead.. i'm sure the eldrers would want to talk to you at the end of the meeting.
