FYI it was not an "accident", the searches were released for marketing purposes and the user names disguised. There is a great blog on the subject on Fark.com that explains AOL/TW reasoning on the subject. It's already "public" meaning that the US Gov't has the results including REAL user names. Of the top search engines only GOOGLE is refusing the Guvs polite request to fork over the info.
Anyway, the last thing I thought of was to search JW's. Good idea cuz only Dubz are still on AOL!

i recently bought a high powered rifle and am presently buying a pistol for back-up.
i have a cross bow, a compound bow, and several swords and knives, in fact i have been collecting knives for some time and have learned how to use them in defending myself and in taking the initiative in learning to defend myself.
i am quite versed in using both the croww bow and the compound bow, it seems the goverment doesn't want to defend us and just wants to unarm us.
You don't even have to have a shotgun. You just need to yell "get the shotgun!!!".I read an experience like that a long time ago. Some guy was breaking into a home and the daughter yelled "mom, get the shotgun!!!". The burgler turned around and went right back out the window.

Your "some guy said" story might have happened, but the intruder certainly was not armed. A real Droogie loaded to the gills hearing a FEMALE! issuing a challenge like that would make sure to investigate further. When he found there was no gun you can bet that pay-back would be a real bitch for both Mom and Daughter especially if his friends were tagging along. Do you really want that kind of blood guilt by suggesting that this is a viable option?
A reasonable person would either run like hell out the front door as intruder entered through the rear or opened up with the REAL shotgun as soon as the head cleared the window sill. Defensive weaponry is best kept HIDDEN until it is used.

I am particularly intrigued by the issue since it a major component of the contrarian nature of JW doctrine; IE: "we'd rather die than ingest blood intravenously even though the Bible does not actually prohibit anything other than the actual EATING of game animal blood. Organ transplants, which call for the "ingestion" of more white blood cells than any transfusion are OK, and dialysis is OK as well because the blood never leaves the person's body. The dialysis machine is accepted as an extension of the person's circulatory system"
I'd love to post the pic from the Awake that shows the woman in her bed next to her "body", a primitive 1000 pound, 2meter sq hunk of metal. Ask anyone who has ever had the experience of dialysis if one of these babies could EVER, in anyone's wildest dreams be considered a part of a person's circulatory system. The sister's own description of needling the vein shunt are bone chilling and bear no resemblance to anything remotely natural. The idea is just too bizzare to even imagine.

An accompanying photo shows her next to the machine, an early model, which is just a huge Rube Goldberg contraption. There is no way they could possibly claim it is "part of her body" or that the blood remains in her veins. The article quotes scripture from Gen. 9:4 and Acts 15:29 (Acts so we cannot claim it's an OT demand I guess?) but NO mention of the command that "blood must be poured on the ground" after it leaves the body.
What a surprises that the WT would so carelessly "forget" scripture that is used every Sunday in every KH in the world to substantiate it's beliefs. In this case however, even Dubs might be able to add 2+2 and realize that the blood is leaving the woman's veins in the foto.
I'd LOVE more WT magazine references on this subject as it is a fascinating rejection of basic JW doctrine spun to become acceptable.

What type of gun would you recommend for personal protection?
The one in your hand. The one at home or in the other room is of no use whatsoever.
Any firearm is effective, it's the gun-platform (you) that is usually the weak link. Practice, practice practice. 500 rds. per week until your hands fully know the routine.

It's the damn old people who don't have any money anyway who keep complaining that "they're going to steal our money" and the status-quo in the education system that has Doctors graduating with $3/4 Million dollars in educational debt that keeps us from progressing. Folks like the surly Indian can still PAY for treatment if they don't like what's offered to them (just as Canadians can PAY for treatment here in the States and those of us in the States can PAY for treatment in Canadian clinics so I really don't know what the heck is their problem other than ignorance.

This came from a discussion I had with the elders about firearms in the house. Christians do not keep firearms for protection because they trust in Jah blah blah blah.

Our congo passed a resolution to pay the plane fare of a friend of the PO from Bethel to the Gulf of Mexico so he could have a vacation. I thought that was very nice of us. We "needed" him for the Memorial for some reason, I'm not sure why.
The brothers all took up a collection when the PO became so busy in the ministry that he didn't have time to work. Since his four daughters all all DF'ed, they could not provide assistance.
