Hell, I'll break you of your cigarette addiction! I call it the Closet Addition Cure.
Great idea! That ought to take care of the moodiness too
i've been off of cigarettes for almost a week now.
i'm chewing nicotine gum like mad, but i can still feel myself melting down inside.
the world seems like such a crummy place to be right now.

Are you drinking a lot of water? That's supposed to help flush the nicotine and stuff from your system...they say it helps, also eating fresh fruit.

by the time i went to get my camera he was gone.. the other day the news had a picture of a cardinal here in ottawa.. i haven't seen a blue jay since i was a kid.
it has been raining since last night and the temperature is just above freezing so i am really surprised to see anything except ravens, pigeons and house wrens.
my window is just at the top of the tree tops so now i will be keeping an eye out the window a lot more otfen.. there is a poor sad looking soggy squirrel out there sitting on a branch too.. .
A homemade suet ball description from a birder's forum:
Also add fruit, like raisens, dried apricots, applies, also. It helps to take it out of the containers and hang it from a tree or hook in an open net bag (like onions are sold in).

It is different to see Birds and animals moving further north than they use to. Worlds getting warmer and we sill see more of this as time goes by.
Their food supplies and habitats are also diminishing, so birds and wild animals are forced to adapt to new climates and environments.
Put a bunch of peanuts outside your window, the Bluejays will thank you! It's amazing how they'll gulp down a whole, unshelled peanut!

for a long time, before working with people in this situation, i would have answered this question with .... "i feel for them and i know how degrading it must be, to come to this point in their life to have to depend on the government to sustain them" .
... once i got up close and personal with these people, i have learned that my answer only applies to a small group of those on government assistance.
well from my experience, those on government assistance are more often about taking advantage of the system, then they are about actually being in need of help.
If the government offers a program, the people using it shouldn't be judged or blamed. The government determines eligibility and should be monitoring use and looking for abuse as well. Everyone still has a right to use the programs the government offers, especially if they pay the taxes that help support the programs.
I know JWs who use government assistance to support themselves so they can preach full time, have seen elders encourage it. What I don't understand is how accepting money from the government's programs is okay, yet getting paid for performing an honest working service for a government agency is considered a sin for 'supporting this system' against God's wishes and in total conflict with the organization's rules????
It seems like a double standard to me........

maybe this has been addressed before, but after reading certain comments about people being "outed", i wonder if the wts really monitors this site?
if so, to what extent?
or is it just individual elders etc.?.
Sure, PMJ, I no too

where i live, you can smell the odor of paper mills.
it's a port city and people speak french here.
i think the average age of people here is one of the higest in canada.. there is a shrine that attracts many tourists in the summer time.
I really don't get that, Legolas. Why would someone who goes to meetings and pretends to be a good JW come to a site like this and post anything, let alone a description of where they live? Unless they want to be found out .......

Yes, I do agree with websites.
But still think they leave the rest of it up to flunkies in the congregations.

I don't think the WTS would waste valuable time and resources to monitor it.
But I do think they rely on individual JWs, who report general findings to elders, who then take it to the GB.
I'm sure individual JWs (the zealous ones) will use this and others sites to "out" their brothers and sisters,
the same way they will snoop observe around your home, business, car, etc. to find "indication of lack of faith".
