  7. How unhappy do you think witness marriages are? I see couples at the meeting and they just look so...stiff. Like they haven't had sex in years. Its weird

  8. Why is it so much harder to get into Bethel now than years ago? I heard they only want people with specific skills now.

  9. How much allowance do Bethelites get? Is it true they get free health insurance etc. but there are clinics and dentists right inside the building? Can you actually meet the Governing Body?

  10. Quick story: Since I was younger I've always wanted to be a writer. Told my mom this at 9 and she insisted that any profession I choose should be to benefit the organization. So I said 'o.k I will help with the writing of the watchtower and awake. ' She got realy quiet and tried to explain that only those directed by Jehovah could write for the publication. I said well who are they. She said the governing body. I said well what are their names. "oh its not important. I said of course it is. I always want to know the name of the author of the book I am reading. Right? She ignored me and told me to go clean my room. So exactly how are the wt awake/ articles written? These old guys must get help. I mean there pretty old right?

  Which aspect of JWs would you like to see a documentary about?

  if you had a chance to make a documentary about some aspect of the jws, what would ou choose?

  would you talk about shunning, the blood issue, explain how its a cult, or what?

  unfortunately this would only be for an 8 minute segment on a current affairs programme so i need something that'll get peoples attention and make them think without having to go too deep into the subject.. what would you choose to talk about?.

  MY BIRTHDAY WISH

  what a depressing birthday for me.

  this is the longest i have ever been single(6 months and lots of self-loving was necessary to make it this long)

  What a depressing birthday for me. Then again its not. This is the longest I have ever been single(6 months and lots of self-loving was necessary to make it this long) and so at least I don't have to feel stupid when the guy I'm with does not get me not even a simple b-day card. At least I don't have to anxiously wonder if my parents will actually even acknowldege what today is. I understand u don't wanna celebrate it but can we at least point it out???!! Hell, who am I kidding. There as bad as all my exes. "Today is what day??"

  And so although I did not want to wake up this morning. Hoping that maybe if I just stayed under the sheets that Time would be put on pause. I am not ready to be 22! I don't even think I have still mastered being 21. There are still things I have not figured out. I am still living this unwanted life. When do I get to finaly pop this bubble that I am in? Its like the needle is in my hand but just aint strong enough to burst this exsistence. I want to Finally embrace my freedom and get out of this life I've been living. I envy all of you who are out. Sometimes I wonder if never knowing what the WT reallly is would of been easier on me.

  And so as I light this candle on my cupcake I make only one wish: to finally allow God give me the oppurtunity to become ME. Whoever she's supposed. to be.

  Describe the WILDEST JW party you ever attended!! no seriously......

  i realize this is totally context and culturally dependent, but the old toronto jw youth scene was quite wild during the years 1984-1994. .

  one example, a group of about 40 jw kids would go up to a ski resort (usually mount st.louis/moonstone or blue mountain) over the x-mas week-end.

  one year we rented out a block of rooms in a resort close to the ski lodge.

  Last one I went to was not really wild but there was a lot of hip hop music and the pioneer sisters were definetly dancing like they was in the club or somethin. but no gyrating or anyhting. Just enough that if an elder had been there (it was all females except for the young brothers) it would of not been that intense with the dancing.

  Oh! and sometimes when I am at a gathering or in service I wish I colud be a part of all the laughing and carrying on like everyone else but I know I just don't belong in that world anymore.

  HOW MANY JW'S ARE REALLY "KEEPIN IT REAL?"

  i know a girl in my hall who completely fabricates her "personal comments" during the wt study to make herself look better.

  she concocts these expierences about her witnessing to class mates and teachers and even adds in a little joke or two for a ha ha effect from the audience.

  i always see her after the meeting and she always got that grin like 'yeah, i made it sound good didn't i?

  You know what now that I think about it u are right truth seeker. Hmm. And I thought it was me. I think all of that has a lot to do wit your prominence in the hall. Why waste your time talkin to Sis. what's her face when ohhh....Bro Brown who is an elder and former bethelite is standing by the water fountain with no takers. Beat it Sis. What's her face! I never see you onstage giving an expierence anyway!!!

  I was told as a little girl costantly: You will not grow old in this old system. How cruel! Its like suddenly telling your child there is no Santa Claus!
