Hilariuos! Gosh that was real weird about the brother and the movie theater.
You look at the Dubs and say to yourself: "hmm..maybe I'm not as weird as my friends say I am after all."
i remember a sister and i in service and we were lost finding the territory.
instead of making a u-turn into a church parking lot right beside us to turn back around (we were on a one-way street and cars were behind us) she refused and instead went all the way down to the end of the road, into a neighborhood, and onto someone's driveway just to turn around.
of course sis.

@David
Gosh, you're story made me sad. You know, my mom is a pretty fanatical DUB but my folks never physically abused me. They more or less definetly emotionally did. Always made me feel like I was not doing enough.
We've all had our nightmares to wake up from
some of the kids my age in my hall are just an insult to my generation.
at the service meeting last week i was talking with one and we were near the front of the hall and there were a bunch of little kids running and jumping around the stage.
she goes: "what a shame.
Funny responses!
Interesting how the WT brags about how they keep the children with the parents during talks unlike "Christendom"
hey...and why is it okay for Jesus to call it sermons but we call them talks? Just realized that.
Anyways, and yet I remember being dragged to the bathroom at 5 years old for a spanking because I could not "sit still" during the meeting. I was 5 for God's sake!
you scored as judaism.
your views are closest to those of judaism.
if you are not a jew, do more research on judaism and possibly consider becoming one; however, realize that conversion to judaism is difficult.
I got Judaism!
OY VEY!

Of course Sis. BlindedbyBethel. Heaven forbid we use 'Christendom's' parking lot for our own selfish purpose. Bad little JW! Bad!
Thinking of this always makes me realize how quirky and just plain weird and obsessed the wittnesses can be.
What weird things have u seen or expierenced a witness do? Come on! I need a god laugh!
... you actually get married.
if you end up having sex and then breaking up, trust me, someone is going to tell the elders.
saw it happen more times then i could ever count.
For holding hands DaCheech??? Boy, I think I can not be surprised anymore but someone posts something seemingly way out there and here I am mouth opened wide while I read that.
the watchtower claims that jesus was not the christ at his birth but instead that he did not become the christ until the time of his baptism:.
"not at birth, but at thirty years of age jesus became christ .
" things in which it is impossible for god to lie p. 211. what does the bible say: .
I think hooberus is on to something
i did go to a wedding last night.
the talk was painfully boring and same as always.
seemed to be more directed to the bride at times: .
I did go to a wedding last night. The talk was painfully boring and same as always. Seemed to be more directed to the bride at times:
"Remember you are to be below your new husband, recognize your role in the marriage, never attempt to take control of it." BLAH BLAH BLAH
And how sad I could already see the new husband taking onto his 'King of the Castle' role quite well. I was seated at the table right next to the bride and groom's and he would "Shush" her very rudely a few times during people's speeches. I dare a man "shush" me
And yet the WT always tells husbands that they are never to abuse the role of headship but how many of them really follow that rule? Once someone drills it into your head that you're "that man" in charge, the head Honcho-are you really worried about the chance of abusing that role?
