for me, 2005 was a great year.
i travelled a good distance to meet wonderful people last july at an apostofest (thank-you mumsy and gary) .
i met a wonderful person here on jwd, and she became a great friend (that's you buttlight) .
1. The one I thought I would spend the rest of my life with cheated on me which turned out to be the best thing ever! Was a total wake up call on not settling for less.
2. I made my first big puchase! A laptop.
3. I got signed to a modeling agency!
4. Most importanly: I became honest myself, learned to prioritze better and established self-discilpline.
i am seeking printed info in wt literature regarding use of birth control pills (for medical reasons) by unmarried women, specifically rules or hints saying it is not ok. (there are many medical reasons to take birth control pills other than for birth control.
) i can't remember seeing anything in print.
do you know if there was mention of this in the literature or in talks?
Birth control pills are outlawed by the society unless its for medical reasons?

The pioneer sister I studied with was on the pill. He whole life was being a pioneer being that her hubby had his own buisness, they had no kids, she had no formal education and so was pretty bored most of the time.
Saw her years later with a 3 year old daughter and she blew up like a whale. She works at Home Depot now and always looks tired and sad.
i think that every one on this site goes way over the top calling jehovahs wittnesses names you spend more time trying to prove them wrong than you do prasing god.i mean is this your purpose in life.if you no more about the bible than the wittnesses then go straght a head and speak.but dont act like a spoiled brat calling people names.a lot of people on this site will belevae what they want to beleave because it suits there lifestyle lets get to the root of whats realy in your hearts

This thread reminds me of a talk that was once given on how there are actually those in the world who have articles and information specifically designed to change to change the witnesses' thinking on certain "Bible based topics". GASP! From my mother and then a chuckle from the brother then he said "How priviledged we are that all we use is God's word the Bible to speak to our neighbors."
Riiight. And the WT/Awake articles, the reasoning books, all the articles in the KM telling us how to preach to unbelieving family members, workmates, school mates, teachers, and everyone else in this great big world too right?

almost finished with the new book "hes just not into you" by greg behrendt and liz tuccillo .
i got it to try and understand where i have failed and where i have succeeded in my relationships with men.
i found alot of the success or failure had nothing to do with me at all!
I read that same book after they were featured on Oprah!
I LOVED IT!.
Basically was saying that if you have to bend over backwards to get a guy to be attentive to you then "he's just not that into you."
It helped me get through my breakup.
