Xena - I am salivating :o)
My favorite BBQ place is Cooper's in Llano. Worth the drive. They also ship now - my hubby doesn't know it, but he is getting sausage and brisket for Christmas. Ok, I'm homesick now.

lisa's mention of junk food harkened me back to memories of sitting underneath the shade of a big oak tree outside the suwannee swiftee convenience store on north forrest street munching on:.

...that jw's have a hard time forgiving others because they themselves are rarely forgiven for their own sins.
according to their beliefs jehovah keeps track of every detail of your life...good and bad.
that even if you are humble and repent of your sins, that there is still no true forgiveness until the new system.
We'll adopt you! I can always use another Texas around the house :o)
(((((((((((andi))))))))))
of course we'll need to move in with you so we can get our Texas citizenship back (been in Yankeeland too long)

Xena - ummmmmmmmm nothing like a potato and egg taco from Taco Cabana to ward off a hangover the next morning. At Baby Acapulco's they used to put Everclear in their margaritas. Sometimes I would need my breakfast taco fix (teehee)
Puffsrule - Funny how much in common we have! I emailing you back :o)

I just remembered another favorite. When my best friend got her drivers license - that spelled freedom for this 14 year old. We would Auxillary Pio during the summers & sometimes go out by ourselves.
Some days this was our meal plan:
Fries from McDonalds
Frosty from Wendy's
Taco's from Taco Bell
Slurpees from 7-11
Dessert from Dairy Queen
See, there just wasn't one place that had it all. We never stopped our time either (shhhhhhhhh! we would leave a magazine {back-issue}in the bathroom)
Teee Heeee - ahhhhh the memories of quality time in service.
Of course our "return visits" were often to school friends. We would be invited in and hang out just long enough before the car group would get worried about us.

I loved Portillo's!!!!
I would get the chili dogs when I was pregnant! We went to the one in Downer's Grove.
Did you ever go to their restaurant in Naperville? Key Wester - I think it was called. Yummy
Although for the absolute best seafood (Cajun Style) you have to go to Pappadeaux in Westmont. It is heavenly :o) (They have restaurants all over Texas)
