  I have no Real Friends!

  i have come to a startling and sad realisation!.

  i have no real friends!.

  i have always been extremely active in every aspect of the org, since childhood.

  I'm sorry, Stuckinarut! The saddest part of being in the org is that ALL of the relationships are conditional.

  It goes beyond that. When you are in the borg, your friends are automatically chosen for you. Sure, you may grow closer to some more than others, but your choices are limited to the people within those 4 walls inside of the Kingdom Hall.

  When you are a kid in a very small congregation, it is especially difficult. You may have absoutely nothing in common with any of these "friends". You are thrown together and labeled as friends only because of circumstance that you happen to be in the same religion and in the same congregation.

  There is nothing REAL about those friendships at all. It is sad.

  The good news is that when you leave, YOU get to choose who you want to be friends with, and who you don't.

  The youngest I have ever seen is 6 years old.

  Holy cow! That is ridiculous! I was baptized when I was 10, and I thought THAT was young!

  I am still on speaking terms with family about everythinge except JW things. About a month ago, my 14 year old neice got baptized. They didn't tell me. I found out by seeing her baptismal pictures on Instagram. My heart sank when I saw them. She is so young. She has no idea what she has done, and what consequences her baptism will bring later on.

  jeremiah simply rejected not only some major portions but even some major books of the bible as not being inspired of god!

  (jeremiah 7:22; 8:8) yet he is read and widely revered.

  if so, why cant you, jws, talk to the people who are called 'apostates' (because they found some of the teachings of jws unacceptable)?.

  I think it's pretty evident they are getting "better" with the way they present their BS. It's obvious the leaders have gone to the latest Brain Washing Conventions and stuided the latest techniques.

  It's flashier and prettier, and they do their best to pull at your heart strings. People in an emotional state are much more easily influenced.

  Assuming this is legit, I don't think TLC will care about our cause or presenting ex-JWs in a normal, positive light. TV shows like TLC produces, thrive on sensationalism. They will find the craziest crazies, follow them around with a camera for a day or two, and everyone will watch it, not because it is a success story, but because it is so RIDICULOUS! And the world will think this is what all ex-JWs are like.

  This is my biggest fear.
