I find it interesting and alarming that the mother's part in all of this is mostly absent, aside from then man's claim that his wife told him to do it. Judicial procedures would prevent the mother from being a part of any of the investigation. What part did she play in allowing this to happen, allowing it to continue, or covering it up, in the process. Or was she mostly kept in the dark, except for what her daughters were willing to share with her. I don't know the answer, but the question weighs on my mind. The whole process of using their self created judicial system, that refuses to allow professionals, authorities or WOMEN to be a part of it is a crime in itself.
The FIRST call they should be required to make should be to the authorities when abuse of ANY kind is reported.
