Here's one I have always liked. While I disagree with the ideas expressed in this religious song, it sure is catchy!

I couldn't resist posting this song again. With Viv, it sounds like we have another song in the making besides "Joanie the Jehovah's Witness Stripper".

Congregation Get-Togethers: In or Out?
by TreadClimberMaster ini was reading redpill2006's post and i noticed that some mentioned that get-togethers or parties have been largely discouraged.
i stopped attending meetings in 2003/2004 and i remember my congregation still had get-togethers, although they were few and far between.
they were not completely discouraged though, has this changed?

In the early to mid 80s, people in my congregation had a costume skating party. just about everybody went. People from neighboring Kingdom Halls accused them of imitating Halloween parties. I was too young to remember what became of the big brouhaha, but it was the one and only costume party we ever had.

Sometimes I wonder is Morris is a suppressed homosexual. He seems so obsessed with tight pants, what homosexuals wear, and worrying about men dressing as "metrosexuals".
"The lady doth protest too much, me thinks."

LEAK: 3000 buildings to liquidate. How to choose? (Watchtower propaganda video)
by Fay Dehr inhttps://youtu.be/pzdxen9rvw0.
as the leaked financial meetings show, watchtower (by it's own admission) has to liquidate 3000+ properties quickly.
how do they choose?

Each time an empty seat is filled because a congregation is merged, relocated, or publishers are moved to a smaller congregation, it is like giving a contribution to the World Wide Work, so that funds can used for their greatest need.
Like legal bills and settling abuse lawsuits.

What are the JWs saying about Trump?
by Wild_Thing inas much as jws say they are neutral, they can't help but discuss politics and label them as either bad or good and somehow connect it back to their dogma.
i remember hearing them discuss it all the time when i was a jw.
i can't help but wonder what the r&f are saying about trump and the many, many controversial events surrounding him.

Funny you should ask. Last week a JW called me at work to chat. He actually said they thought Trump was going to be the one to bring on the end, but that everything is going great.
That is exactly what I thought most of them would say. Thanks for the verification. Everything is about them and the end of the world.

Time to remind JWs of this famous quote from CT Russell!
by stuckinarut2 inwith the ever present issue of the society seeming to run out of money, and constantly asking the flock for more donations, maybe it is time to revive this quote!.
the leaked financial dept videos that have done the rounds, clearly show the society is in desperate trouble financially.. so, where is the "almighty's hand"?
where is his ability to provide funds?

Yeah I think JWs would just jump on the chance to claim that prophecy is being fulfilled with that quote. They have stopped publishing the magazines like they use to, and publishing everything electronically is cheap.

Bill Nye vs Ken Ham debate
by Whynot indid anyone else watch the bill nye versus ken ham debate?
it happened february 4, 2014 and just watched it a few months ago.
i thought it was interesting but must confess that i felt extremely embarrassed for ken ham.

You think Bill Nye was in league with Ken Ham to promote the creationist museum???
No, not all. I think Ham used Bill Nye to promote his creationist museum. And I think Bill Nye agreed to it for his own monetary gains.

I love Bill Nye. I always have. But I felt like he sold out when he agreed to do that debate. It felt like it was just a publicity stunt to promote Ham's new "museum".
