  The Best way to talk with my JW sister???

  i have a younger sister who is 15 and very willing to debate the witness doctrine with me.

  she is planning on getting baptized in about 6 months and i'm against it and even my witness mom who has been a witness for 15 years thinks she should wait.

  but of course my sister is getting it from all angles with a study and an older sister who is a fresh baptism and very fervent for the "truth".

  after watching his impromptu press conference yesterday on abc i am convinced that clown wants a war with either n. korea or iran.

  If Gore had been President, I don't quite think that he would have labelled Iraq, Iran and North Korea as the "Axis of Evil" and then proceeded to invade one of them. With Mr.Cowboy Diplomacy out there, I think I would arm myself if I was one of the other two countries.

  Meetings are BORING!

  why do the brothers take such offense when someone says that the meetings are boring?.

  i can't possibly fathom how people who have been going to the meetings for decades can sit at the kh and listen, for example, to yesterday's wt study for an hour about adam and eve, cain and abel, how we are all allowed to pray, blah, blah, blah... and not be bored out of their minds!.

  I liked the 15 minutes before the meetings and the hour or two after them. That was what made them somewhat bearable.

  My elder step-dad was big on euphanisms. Darn, dang = Damn, etc. He always looked kinda crazy(we later found out he is) calling people on little words like that.

  Why don't JW's change their failed methods of witnessing...

  going out in field service monday thru friday 9 till noon, knocking on empty doors while most people are away at work.

  knowing no one will be at home.

  why is there not a massive effort for evening witnessing when you know most people will be home and able to be reached.

  I think because the formula of just having the R&F contribute money works just fine for higher-ups. They have to know that everything that they preach is bogus, but as long as they keep the minions contributing, it's all good.

  the wts is a member of cesnur an organisation that seeks to promote new religions and to oppose anti cult actions by governments on the grounds that these are attacks on personal and religious freedom.

  surprise surprise the other members of this organisation make up a strange brood: mormons, scientologists, new agers, ramtha's school of ancient wisdom, etc.

  clearly the wts that criticises mainstream christianity so much chooses to join forces with such dubious religions in cesnur.
