Ha!
I've seen some pretty good signs mocking the Westboro church.
in reference to ridicule being used to deflate the message of hate groups:.

that's the word according to my mil.
mrs hoser is starting a new career and the college and work training will take her four years to complete.
her mom is giving her a hard time telling her that the system will be over before she graduates.
One of my favorite ex-jw sayings:
DON'T BUY THE GREEN BANANAS, PEOPLE!!!
i've heard it mentioned a few times.. the rotating earth graphic in the background on jwtv rotates backwards.. i've mentioned it to the active and they are not concerned at all.. my response is, "it's something they are portraying that cannot be more wrong".. .
two gb members have stood in front of it telling us to trust them.
how can you when they think the sun rises in the west.... .
Ha! True that!
Well, maybe because of the whole "faith can move mountains" and whoever it was that stopped the sun, maybe the GB is letting everyone know that got plans to talk jehovah into changing the earths rotation.
It could happen.
....and then I see prologos already said that.
......to see how much i get love bombed in my tight pants and bright socks.. i bet they'll totally respect my gb approved pinky ring though.. i haven't been to a meeting since 1994 so i wonder if they'll get the irony if i ask, "so what's changed?".
good effin' lord....i just realized i've been out for 20 years.. .

SoJo16- I would see challenging the narrative rather easy anymore as I see this as a dead religion. It's been 100 years since 1914. They were talking out of their ass. The generation is dead. None of this "overlapping generation" crap. Dead. *drops mike*
Laverite- I might have done something like that in my youth. Now that I'm older....
literally, a text message to my husband from one of his "friends".
he also wrote, "it's in her hands.
it's her move now.
If I was you, my biggest fear is that my kids would be raised in this cult.
"it's the intent that counts not the result.".
i have been out of the jw organization for some 22 years now and i sometimes get a reminding jolt out the hoops that some will jump through to make their religion make sense to them.
the first line in this post is what a jw on the street here in salinas told me on saturday when trying to justify the society's history of false prophecies.
So they can ruin peoples lives, deny people a good education and a bunch of other crap because some old farts have "good intentions"? Ok, got it.

To be fair, I think it was Neil DeGrasse Tyson that told Jon Stewart that they had the earth spinning backwards on The Daily Show as well.
1. love the org.
your god with all your heart, mind, soul and strength....... 2. listen obey and be blessed..... 3. not wear tight pants...... 4. not not wear colorful socks..... .
others feel free to add to the list.. .
I bet the old commandment of having a 4 door service car will change to having a van that can haul a cart around.
hi guys, ive finally got a copy of coc from my local library, im on page 120ish and im really enjoying it!
the thing that gets me now that im enlightened is how little the rank and file know about anything this organazation does!
everything is so secretive and covered up behind a curtain.
Welcome to the forum, Blackfalcon98!
I am actually really jealous of you that you found that book at age 19. I wish I had at that time instead of my late 30's. I had left some time before reading it but after having read it, that was the final nail in the coffin that I needed.

Hey, welcome to the forum SoJo16!
LisaRose- unfortunately the link is dead so undoubtably I'm missing some fine styles.
Laverite- so you want me to go full Spinal Tap on them and get the biggest cucumber I can find and stuff down my pants? Or maybe a salami that goes down to my knees.
Blondie- I wonder if I can get one of those with the batsignal on it.
Punk- I'll consider it...
Funny how the most "worldly" attire I ever wore that caused a stir was back in the 80's. A white suit with a black shirt and one of those leather ties with spikes on it. So rebellious!
And I 20 years club. I like it!
